An-Naba', Surah The Great News (Qur'an: Surat-78-An-Naba')

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

78/An-Naba'-1: What is it that they ask one another?

78/An-Naba'-2: About the great news.

78/An-Naba'-3: That they are in disagreement about it.

78/An-Naba'-4: Nay, they shall soon know.

78/An-Naba'-5: Then, nay, they shall soon know.

78/An-Naba'-6: Have We not made the earth a mattress?

78/An-Naba'-7: And (made) the mountains as pegs (that keep the earth in its place)?

78/An-Naba'-8: And We created you in pairs

78/An-Naba'-9: And We made your sleep a time to rest.

78/An-Naba'-10: And We made the night a cover.

78/An-Naba'-11: And We made the day a time for subsistence.

78/An-Naba'-12: And We built above you seven strong layers.

78/An-Naba'-13: And We made (therein) a lamp shining brilliant.

78/An-Naba'-14: And We send down water from the rain the clouds pouring forth robustly.

78/An-Naba'-15: That We may bring forth therewith grains and vegetations.

78/An-Naba'-16: (To have) vineyards and gardens hugging (within) each other.

78/An-Naba'-17: Surely the Day of Sorting was a decreed time (earlier).

78/An-Naba'-18: The Day on which the Trumpet is blown, so you shall come forth in groups.

78/An-Naba'-19: And the sky is opened, hence the gates are formed.

78/An-Naba'-20: And the mountains are moved off, hence became a mirage.

78/An-Naba'-21: Surely Hell has become visible (place of punishment).

78/An-Naba'-22: A place of refuge for the extravagant.

78/An-Naba'-23: (They are the ones) to remain in there for all times.

78/An-Naba'-24: They do not taste therein a coolness nor a drink.

78/An-Naba'-25: Except dirty wound discharge and boiling water.

78/An-Naba'-26: As a suitable recompense.

78/An-Naba'-27: Surely they were not expecting a Reckoning.

78/An-Naba'-28: And called Our Verses a lie, contradicting it.

78/An-Naba'-29: And We have counted (recorded) writing it.

78/An-Naba'-30: Go ahead and taste (the torment)! We shall not increase you except in torment.

78/An-Naba'-31: Surely for the owners of piety, there is Salvation (and gain).

78/An-Naba'-32: There are gardens and vineyards.

78/An-Naba'-33: And superb statured young girls who are equals in age.

78/An-Naba'-34: And there are goblets which are full.

78/An-Naba'-35: They shall not hear therein a vain word nor a lie.

78/An-Naba'-36: (This is) a reward (blessing) from your Lord according to a reckoning.

78/An-Naba'-37: (Allah is) the Most-Beneficent Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them. (None) have an address from Him.

78/An-Naba'-38: On that Day the Spirit (of the Imam of the Time) and the angels (that hold the Throne) stand ready in rows. No one can speak except he whom the Most-Beneficent permits. And he (who is permitted) speaks only the rewards.

78/An-Naba'-39: That Day (when the hand of the Murshid is kissed in order to reach the Truth/Allah and when one has depended on him) is the Day of Truth. The one who wishes (to reach Allah), takes a Way that leads to his Lord (Sıratı Mustakîm, the Path directed to Allah). (Allah) becomes Meab (shelter).

78/An-Naba'-40: Surely We have warned you of a near torment. On that Day the one shall look at what he presented with his hands. And the disbeliever shall say: “I wish I was dust”.
