Surely your Lord knows that you and a party of those with you do stand (to recite the Qur'an, to do Dhikr, to be Qânitin, to perform the prayer of Tahajjud) nearly two-thirds of the night, and (sometimes) half of it, and (sometimes) a third of it. And Allah appoints the night and the day; He knew that you could never calculate it (that you could not exactly determine the intervals of the night). Therefore He has accepted your repentance. Hence read what is easy for you of the Qur'an! He knew that some among you would be sick, and others would travel in the land seeking of the Virtue (Sustenance) of Allah, and others would fight in the Way of Allah. So, read of it (Qur’an) whatever is easy for you, keep up the prayer, give alms, and lend nicely for the sake of Allah! And whatever of good you present for your soul, you find it in the Presence Allah as a better and greater reward. And ask forgiveness of Allah (repent and ask your sins to be converted into merits)! Surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
