« Verse-142 »
وَوَاعَدْنَا مُوسَى ثَلاَثِينَ لَيْلَةً وَأَتْمَمْنَاهَا بِعَشْرٍ فَتَمَّ مِيقَاتُ رَبِّهِ أَرْبَعِينَ لَيْلَةً وَقَالَ مُوسَى لأَخِيهِ هَارُونَ اخْلُفْنِي فِي قَوْمِي وَأَصْلِحْ وَلاَ تَتَّبِعْ سَبِيلَ الْمُفْسِدِينَ
English Transliteration: Va veaaadnea moosea saleaseena laylatan va atmamneahea bi aashrin fa tamma meekeatu raabbihee arbaaeena laylah(laylatan), va keala moosea li aaheehi hearoonaahlufnee fee kaavmee va aaslıh va lea tattabi’ sabeelal mufsideen(mufsideena).
We promised Moses thirty nights and completed them with ten. So the appointed time of his Lord was completed to forty nights. And Moses said to his brother Aaron: “Take my place among my people and amend and do not follow the way of the mischief-makers”.
