« Verse-148 »
سَيَقُولُ الَّذِينَ أَشْرَكُواْ لَوْ شَاء اللّهُ مَا أَشْرَكْنَا وَلاَ آبَاؤُنَا وَلاَ حَرَّمْنَا مِن شَيْءٍ كَذَلِكَ كَذَّبَ الَّذِينَ مِن قَبْلِهِم حَتَّى ذَاقُواْ بَأْسَنَا قُلْ هَلْ عِندَكُم مِّنْ عِلْمٍ فَتُخْرِجُوهُ لَنَا إِن تَتَّبِعُونَ إِلاَّ الظَّنَّ وَإِنْ أَنتُمْ إَلاَّ تَخْرُصُونَ
English Transliteration: Sa yakoolullazeena ashraakoo lav sheaaalleahu mea ashraaknea va lea eabeaunea va lea haarraamnea min shay’in, kazealika kazzaballazeena min kaablihim haattea zeakoo ba’sanea, kul hal indakum min ilmin fa tuhricoohu lanea, in tattabioona illeaz zaanna va in antum illea taahrusoon(taahrusoona).
Those who ascribe partners will say: “If Allah had willed, we would not have ascribed partners, nor would our fathers nor would we have forbidden anything”. Likewise belied those who were before them till they tasted Our punishment. Say: “Have you any knowledge with you? If so, you should bring it forth to us. You only follow a conjecture and you only tell lies”.
