« Verse-36 »
وَكَمْ أَهْلَكْنَا قَبْلَهُم مِّن قَرْنٍ هُمْ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُم بَطْشًا فَنَقَّبُوا فِي الْبِلَادِ هَلْ مِن مَّحِيصٍ
English Transliteration: Va kam ahlaknea kaablahum min kaarnin hum ashaddu minhum baatshan fa naakkaaboo feel bilead(bileadi), hal min maaheesin.
And how many a generation We have destroyed before them who were mightier in prowess than they in regards to destruction and violence. Yet, they sought for a place to refuge in the lands (to save themselves from Our destruction). Is there any place of refuge?
