Ad-Dukhan, Surah The Smoke (Qur'an: Surat-44-Ad-Dukhan)

Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem

44/Ad-Dukhan-1: Hâ, Mim.

44/Ad-Dukhan-2: By the manifest Book.

44/Ad-Dukhan-3: We surely sent it down on a blessed night. Without a doubt, We are the Warners.

44/Ad-Dukhan-4: Therein every wise (judged) command (affair) is distinguished (determined).

44/Ad-Dukhan-5: As a Command from Our Presence). Surely We are the Senders (of the Qur’an and the Messengers).

44/Ad-Dukhan-6: As a Mercy from your Lord. Surely He, He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.

44/Ad-Dukhan-7: Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them, if you are the owners of certainty (yaqîn).

44/Ad-Dukhan-8: There is no god but He. He gives life and kills. He is your Lord, and Lord of your forefathers.

44/Ad-Dukhan-9: Nay, they are playing about in doubt.

44/Ad-Dukhan-10: Thus watch for the day when the sky shall bring an evident smoke (a mischief).

44/Ad-Dukhan-11: (A mischief) that covered (most of) the people. That is a painful torment.

44/Ad-Dukhan-12: Our Lord, remove from us this torment. Surely we are believers.

44/Ad-Dukhan-13: There had come to them a Messenger that explained (everything). (In spite of this) they did not learn a lesson (from what the Messenger has said).

44/Ad-Dukhan-14: They have turned away from him and said: “Taught (by being revealed by Satan), a madman”.

44/Ad-Dukhan-15: Surely (even) if We remove the torment a little, you are the ones who certainly shall return (to Shirq, to associating partners with Allah).

44/Ad-Dukhan-16: The day when We shall seize (them) with the most violent seizing, surely We are the One Who will take vengeance.

44/Ad-Dukhan-17: And certainly We tried before them Pharaoh’s people too, and a noble Messenger (Moses) had come to them.

44/Ad-Dukhan-18: (Saying): “Give me the servants of Allah. Surely I am a trustful Messenger for you.

44/Ad-Dukhan-19: And do not exalt yourselves against Allah! Because, I come to you with a clear Sultan (authority).

44/Ad-Dukhan-20: And surely I took refuge with my Lord and your Lord that you should stone me.

44/Ad-Dukhan-21: And if you do not believe in me, then keep away from me.

44/Ad-Dukhan-22: Then he called upon his Lord, saying: “These are a sinning people”.

44/Ad-Dukhan-23: Leave immediately (along) with My servants to walk in the night! Surely you will be pursued.

44/Ad-Dukhan-24: And leave the sea open! Surely they are an army that shall be drowned.

44/Ad-Dukhan-25: Many of the gardens and water springs they have left!

44/Ad-Dukhan-26: And crop fields and goodly places (mansions)!

44/Ad-Dukhan-27: And (they left the) blessings wherein they used to take delight!

44/Ad-Dukhan-28: Just like that. And We made the later people inherit them.

44/Ad-Dukhan-29: The heaven and the earth did not weep for them, nor were they extended.

44/Ad-Dukhan-30: And verily We delivered the Children of Israel from the abasing torment (of Pharaoh).

44/Ad-Dukhan-31: A Pharaoh that he surely was haughty and one of the extravagant.

44/Ad-Dukhan-32: And certainly We chose them (Children of Israel), upon a knowledge, above the Worlds.

44/Ad-Dukhan-33: And We gave them of the Verses (miracles) wherein was a clear trial.

44/Ad-Dukhan-34: Most surely they certainly will say.

44/Ad-Dukhan-35: (Our death is) only our first death and we shall not be raised again.

44/Ad-Dukhan-36: So bring our fathers (back), if you are truthful.

44/Ad-Dukhan-37: Are they better or the people of Tubba and those before them? We destroyed them, because they were sinners.

44/Ad-Dukhan-38: And We did not create the heavens and the earth and what is between them, for mere play.

44/Ad-Dukhan-39: We did not create them both except with the truth (We created them with Truth), and but most of them do not know.

44/Ad-Dukhan-40: Surely the Day of Separation is all of their appointed term.

44/Ad-Dukhan-41: On that Day, there is no benefit from a friend to a friend, nor shall they be helped.

44/Ad-Dukhan-42: Except him on whom Allah has Mercy (whom Allah manifests Himself with His Name of Most Merciful). Surely He is the All-Mighty, the Most Merciful.
