« Verse-5 »
وَقَالُوا قُلُوبُنَا فِي أَكِنَّةٍ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ وَفِي آذَانِنَا وَقْرٌ وَمِن بَيْنِنَا وَبَيْنِكَ حِجَابٌ فَاعْمَلْ إِنَّنَا عَامِلُونَ
English Transliteration: Va kealoo kuloobunea fee akinnatin mimmea tad’oonea ilayhi va fee eazeaninea vaakrun va min bayninea va baynika hiceabun faa’mal innanea eamiloon(eamiloona).
And they said: “Our hearts are under coverings (to prevent us from comprehension) from that, to which you call us, and there is heaviness in our ears, and a veil hangs between us and you. So do (whatever you want)! We too are the ones who will do whatever we want”.
