38/Sad-1: Sead, val kur’eani zeez zikr(zikri)., 38/Sad-2: Balillazeena kafaroo fee ızzatin va shikeak(shikeakın)., 38/Sad-3: Kam ahlaknea min kaablihim min kaarnin fa neadav va leata heena maneas(maneasin).
Sad, Surah Letter Sad (Qur'an: Surat-38-Sad)
Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem
38/Sad-1:
Sâd, by the Qur’ân, the owner of Remembrance (Dhikr).
38/Sad-2:
Nay! Disbelievers are in pride and division.
38/Sad-3:
How many generations did We destroy before them. Then they cried out, but the time of salvation had passed away.
38/Sad-4:
And they were perplexed that a Warner from among themselves has come to them and the disbelievers said: “This is such a lying sorcerer”.
38/Sad-5:
Does he make the gods a single God? A strange thing is this, to be sure!
38/Sad-6:
And the notables of them broke forth (saying): “Go ahead! Remain patient (constant) to your gods! This is most surely a thing sought of you for sure”.
38/Sad-7:
We never heard of this (that all deities are actually one) in other religions. This is nothing but a forgery.
38/Sad-8:
Has the Reminder (Dhikr) been sent down to him from among us? Nay! They are in doubt about My Reminder (Dhikr)! Nay! They have not yet tasted My Torment!
38/Sad-9:
Or are the treasures of the Mercy of your Lord, the All-Mighty, the All-Forgiving, All-Bestowing with them?
38/Sad-10:
Or is the Dominion of the heavens and the earth and what is between them theirs? Then let them ascend by finding the means (the ways).
38/Sad-11:
(They are) here a defeated army formed of the factions.
38/Sad-12:
The people of Noah and Âd and the owner of spikes Pharaoh had denied before them as well.
38/Sad-13:
And the people of Thamûd, and Lot and the Dwellers of ‘Elke’; these were the (denying) factions too.
38/Sad-14:
They all called the Messengers nothing but liars. So My punishment was justified.
38/Sad-15:
And they are not waiting for anything but a single Shout (a violent sound-wave), where there will be no other opportunity for them.
38/Sad-16:
And they said: “Our Lord! Hasten on for us our portion before the Day of Reckoning”.
38/Sad-17:
Be patient of what they say, and remember Our servant David, the possessor of power. He was certainly Evvâb (He had reached Allah).
38/Sad-18:
Surely We made the mountains subservient to him. They glorified (Us) with him at sunrise and nightfall.
38/Sad-19:
And (We made) the birds gathered together (subservient to him too). They were all Evvâb (all had turned to Him and taken refuge in Him).
38/Sad-20:
And We strengthened his dominion and We gave him wisdom and Fasl-ı Hitâb (the ability to address to audience and to judge with justice by distinguishing the right from wrong).
38/Sad-21:
And has the news of the litigants come to you? They had made an entry into the private chamber (David’s praying place) by climbing over the walls.
38/Sad-22:
When they burst in upon David, he was frightened at them. “Do not fear! We are two litigants, of whom one has acted wrongfully towards the other. Therefore decide between us with justice! Do not be extravagant (do not be unjust)! Make us reach the middle course (the just solution)”.
38/Sad-23:
Surely this is my brother. He has ninety-nine sheep and I have a single sheep. Yet he said: “Make it over to me (give that to me too)”, and he has prevailed against me in speech.
38/Sad-24:
He (David) said: “Surely he has wronged you in demanding your sheep in addition to his. And most surely most of the partners act wrongfully towards one another. Except those who believe (who wish to reach Allah while they are alive) and do improving deeds (do the soul’s cleansing). And very few are they! And David guessed that we had tried him. So he sought Forgiveness of his Lord and he fell down prostrate. And he turned to his Lord (he has reached his Lord with his words and seeing Him, and received an answer).
38/Sad-25:
Therefore We forgave him (in this matter). Most surely he has a high rank in Our Presence and an excellent refuge (resort).
38/Sad-26:
O David! Surely We have made you a vicegerent in the earth. So rule between mankind with justice and do not follow the low desires (the soul) lest it should lead you astray from the Way of Allah. As for those who go astray from the Way of Allah, there is for them a severe torment because they forgot the Day of Reckoning.
38/Sad-27:
And We did not create the heaven and the earth and what is between them in vain. That is the opinion of those who disbelieve. Then woe to those who disbelieve, on account of Fire (since they will be tormented).
38/Sad-28:
Shall We treat those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (do the soul’s cleansing) like the mischief-makers in the earth, or those who are the pious (the owners of takwâ) like the wicked.
38/Sad-29:
We have sent down to you this Blessed Book that they may take caution with its Verses and that Ulûl'elbab (the owners of continuous remembrance, the owners of the secret divine treasures) may deliberate.
38/Sad-30:
And We bestowed on David, his son Solomon. How excellent servant! Surely he was Evvâb (He had reached Allah).
38/Sad-31:
There were brought to him in the evening marvelous breed horses ready to run.
38/Sad-32:
Then he said: “Surely I love (them) with the love of goodness (with the love of those who have attained to continuous remembrance) because I remember (repeat the Name of) my Lord”. (When the horses) disappeared (running swiftly and raising clouds of dust) behind the curtain.
38/Sad-33:
(He said:) “Bring them back to me”. So he began to caress their legs and necks.
38/Sad-34:
And certainly We tried Solomon, and We made him reach on his throne as a (mere) body, then he turned (departed).
38/Sad-35:
He said: “My Lord! Forgive me and bestow upon me a dominion which cannot be attained by anyone else after me. Verily, you are All-Forgiving.
38/Sad-36:
Upon that We made the wind subservient to him. By his command, it would go where ever he desired blowing gently.
38/Sad-37:
And also all the devils that they are the builders and divers.
38/Sad-38:
And the others (too) fettered in chains (given to his command).
38/Sad-39:
These are Our gifts. So bestow freely or withhold, without reckoning.
38/Sad-40:
And most surely he has a high rank in Our Presence and an excellent refuge (resort).
38/Sad-41:
And remember Our servant Job (Ayyûb). He had called upon his Lord, saying: “Verily, Satan had distress and torment touched me”.
38/Sad-42:
Strike (the ground) with your foot. Here is a cool water to wash and drink.
38/Sad-43:
And We bestowed on Him his family and the like of it with them, as a Mercy from Us, and as a reminder (Dhikr) for Ulûl'elbab (the owners of the continuous Dhikr, owners of the secret divine treasures).
38/Sad-44:
And (O, Job) take in your hand a bundle of thin grass and strike with it and do not break your oath. Surely We found him patient. What an excellent servant he was! Surely he was Evvâb (he had reached Allah, submitted his spirit to Allah by making it reach Allah before death).
38/Sad-45:
And remember Our servants Abraham and Isaac and Jacob, men of power and vision.
38/Sad-46:
Surely We made them utterly pure (servants) as the owners of the utter purity remembering the Home (of the Hereafter).
38/Sad-47:
And most surely they are absolutely of ‘the best and the chosen’ in Our Presence.
38/Sad-48:
And remember Ishmael, Elisha (Alyasa) and Isaiah (Dhu’l Kifl). They were all of the best.
38/Sad-49:
This (the Glorious Qur’ân) is a Reminder (Dhikr). And most surely there is indeed the Best Refuge (the Esence of Allah) for the owners of piety.
38/Sad-50:
There are heavens of Eden whose doors are opened for them.
38/Sad-51:
Reclining therein, they ask for many fruits and drink.
38/Sad-52:
And with them are women restraining their eyes (looking only at their husbands), who are in same age.
38/Sad-53:
This is what you are promised for the Day of Reckoning.
38/Sad-54:
Most surely this is Our endless sustenance.
38/Sad-55:
This (is the state of those who are in heaven). And most surely there is an evil refuge (resort) for the inordinate ones.
38/Sad-56:
Hell; they enter it. That is a terrible resting place.
38/Sad-57:
This (is the state of those who are in hell), so let them taste the boiling water and dirty wound discharges.
38/Sad-58:
And other (torments) of its form in pairs.
38/Sad-59:
This is a group that will enter (the torment) along with you. No greeting for them. Surely they are the ones who will enter the Fire.
38/Sad-60:
They said: “Nay! In reality there is no greeting to you. You offered it to us (you caused us to have this torment). Now how evil as a resting-place (hell).
38/Sad-61:
They said: “Our Lord, whoever offered this to us (whoever has caused us to come here) add to him double torment in the Fire”!
38/Sad-62:
And (those who are in Hell) said: “Why do we not see (here in hell) those whom we used to count among the worst ones”?
38/Sad-63:
We took them as an object of mockery. Or have (our) eyes glided from them (that we could not see them)?
38/Sad-64:
Verily the mutual dispute of the inmates of the Fire is the very truth.
38/Sad-65:
Say: “I am only a Warner, and there is no god but Allah, the One, the Destroyer.
38/Sad-66:
The Lord of the heavens and the earth and what is between them is the All-Mighty, the Oft-Forgiving.
38/Sad-67:
Say: “That (Qur’ân) is great news.
38/Sad-68:
You are the ones who turn aside from it.
38/Sad-69:
I had no knowledge when they were arguing at the Mele’il A’lâ.
38/Sad-70:
It is being revealed unto me that I am only a plain Warner.
38/Sad-71:
Your Lord had said to the angels: “Surely I am going to create a human being from clay (out of mire)”.
38/Sad-72:
So when I design him and breathe into him of My Spirit, then fall down before him, prostrating!
38/Sad-73:
Upon that all the angels prostrated themselves.
38/Sad-74:
Except Iblîs (Lucifer) that he became haughty and he has been one of the disbelievers.
38/Sad-75:
(Allah) said: “O Iblîs (Lucifer)! What prevented you from prostrating yourself to one whom I have created with My Hands (with My Power)? You got arrogant! Or are you one of the high exalted ones”?
38/Sad-76:
(Iblîs) said: “I am better than he. You have created me of fire and You created him of clay”.
38/Sad-77:
(Allah) said: “Then get out of it (heaven)! Now surely you are an outcast”.
38/Sad-78:
And surely My Curse is on you until the Day of the Religion.
38/Sad-79:
(Iblîs) said: “My Lord, then respite me to the Day when they are raised (resurrected)”.
38/Sad-80:
(Allah) said: “Surely you are of the respited ones”.
38/Sad-81:
Till the Day of the time known.
38/Sad-82:
(Iblîs) said: “Then by your Might, I will surely exacerbate them all”.
38/Sad-83:
Except Your Muhlasîn (the utterly pure) Servants from among them.
38/Sad-84:
(Allah) said: “This is indeed the truth and I speak the truth”.
38/Sad-85:
I will most certainly fill hell with you and with all those among them who follow you.
38/Sad-86:
Say: “I do not ask you for any wage for it (for my conveying of the Message), nor am I of those who make responsible”.
38/Sad-87:
It (the Qur’an) is only a Reminder (Dhikr) for the Worlds.
38/Sad-88:
And most certainly you will come to know its news after a while.
