3/Al Imran-1: Alif leam meem. , 3/Al Imran-2: AAlleahu lea ileaha illea huval haayyul kaayyoom(kaayyoomu). , 3/Al Imran-3: Nazzala aalaykal kiteaba bil haakkı musaaddikaan limea bayna yadayhi va anzalat tavreata val inceel(inceela).
Al Imran, Surah The Family of Imran (Qur'an: Surat-3-Al Imran)
Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem
3/Al Imran-1:
Alif, Lâm, Mim.
3/Al Imran-2:
Allah! (there is) no god but He, the Ever living, the Self-Subsisting by Whom all things subsist.
3/Al Imran-3:
It is He Who sent down the Book in parts (verse by verse) (the Qur’ân) to you with truth, confirming what is in their hands (Books). And He sent down the Torah and the Gospel as well.
3/Al Imran-4:
Aforetime, as a Guidance (Hidayet) for the mankind (He sent down the Torah and the Gospel) and (then) He sent down the Discernment (the Furqân, the criterion of judgment between the right and the wrong, the Qur’ân) Verily they denied the Verses (Signs) of Allah, for them there is a severe torment; and Allah is All-Mighty, All-Able of Retribution.
3/Al Imran-5:
Truly, nothing is hidden from Allah in the earth and in the heaven.
3/Al Imran-6:
He it is Who shapes you in the wombs as He wills. There is no god but He, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
3/Al Imran-7:
He it is Who has sent down to you the Book. Some of its Verses are Muhkem (decisive, firm, containing decrees, whose meanings are plain), they are the Foundation of the Book and others allegorical (open to interpretations); then as for those in whose hearts there is a swerving (an incline to meaninglessness) pursue the allegorical seeking dissension (Al-Fitnah, disorder, confusion, tumult) and seeking to give it (their own) interpretation, but none knows its Interpretation except Allah; and those who are firmly grounded in knowledge say: “We believe in it, it is all from our Lord”; and none do mind except Ulu’l Elbâb (those who have attained to the continuous remembrance of the Name of Allah).
3/Al Imran-8:
Our Lord! Let not our hearts deviate after You have guided us (gave us Hidayet), and grant us mercy from You. Truly, You are the One Who Bestows.
3/Al Imran-9:
Our Lord! Verily, it is You Who will gather the mankind together on a Day about which there no doubt. Allah does not break His Promise.
3/Al Imran-10:
Those who disbelieve, surely neither their property nor their children shall avail them in the least against anything (the torment coming) from Allah; and it is they who will be fuel of the Fire.
3/Al Imran-11:
(Their case is) like the case of the family of Pharaoh and those before them; they belied our Verses, so that Allah seized them for their sins. And Allah is Severe in punishment.
3/Al Imran-12:
Say to those who disbelieve; “You will be vanquished and gathered together in Hell, and worst indeed is that place of rest”.
3/Al Imran-13:
There has already been a lesson for you in the two parties that met on the battlefield (the Battle of Badr). One party fighting in the Way of Allah and the other disbelieving. They saw them to be twice their own number by (their) eyesight; and Allah strengthens with His Aid whom He wills; most surely there is a lesson in this for the (owners of) insight.
3/Al Imran-14:
The lust (extreme desire) towards women and children, of hoarded treasures of gold and silver, of branded beautiful horses and cattle and well-tilled land, is made to seem beautiful to men; this is the provision of the life of this world; and Allah is the best Shelter in His presence.
3/Al Imran-15:
Say: “Shall I inform you of what is far better than those”? For the Pious (the owners of Takwâ) there are Gardens with their Lord, underneath which rivers flow, to abide in them forever, and purified wives and Allah’s Pleasure; and Allah is All-Seeing of His servants.
3/Al Imran-16:
They say: “Our Lord! We have indeed believed (became âmenû), so forgive us (change our sins into merits) and save us from the torment of the Fire”.
3/Al Imran-17:
(They are) those who are patient and those who are true (to their vow) and Kânitîn (standing up for a long time before Allah in prayer with a profound respect) and those who spend (for Allah) and those who ask forgiveness at the time before dawn.
3/Al Imran-18:
Allah bears witness that there is no god but He, and (so do) the angels and those possessed of knowledge kept up with justice (bear witness): there is no god except He. He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
3/Al Imran-19:
Truly, the Religion with Allah is Islam (religion of submission). Those to whom the Book had been given, differed, out of mutual envy, after knowledge had come to them. And whoever hinders (disbelieves) the Verses of Allah, then surely Allah is Swift in reckoning.
3/Al Imran-20:
So if they dispute with you, say: “I have submitted my physical body to Allah, and so did every one who follows (taken an allegiance to) me”; and say to those who have been given the Book and to those who are illiterates: “Did you also submit your physical bodies (to Allah)”? So if they submit, then indeed they have attained Guidance (Hidayet); and if they turn away, then upon you is only to convey the Message; and Allah is All-Seeing of His servants.
3/Al Imran-21:
Then announce to those who disbelieve in the Verses of Allah and kill the Prophets without right and kill those among men who enjoin justice, a painful torment.
3/Al Imran-22:
Those are they whose works have become null in this world and in the Hereafter; and for them there are no helpers.
3/Al Imran-23:
Have you not considered those who have been given a portion of the Book? They are invited to the Book of Allah to be decided between them, then a part of them turn back and turn their faces away.
3/Al Imran-24:
This is because they say: “The Fire shall not touch us but for a number of days; and what they have forged deceives them in their religion”.
3/Al Imran-25:
Then how will it be when We gather them all together on a Day about which there is no doubt, and every soul shall be fully paid what it has earned and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.
3/Al Imran-26:
Say: “O Allah! Owner of the sovereignty! You give the sovereignty to whom You will and You take away the sovereignty from whom You will and You exalt whom You will and abase whom You will; In Your Hand is the Good; surely You have Power over all things”.
3/Al Imran-27:
You make the night to pass into the day and You make the day to pass into the night, and You bring forth the living from the dead and You bring forth the dead from the living and You give sustenance to whom You will without measure.
3/Al Imran-28:
Let not the believers take the unbelievers for friends rather than believers; and whoever does this, he is not in anything (mercy and virtue) from Allah, except if you guard yourselves against them, taking a precaution. Allah makes you cautious of Himself (wants you to have piety towards Him) and to Allah is the final return (it is Allah which the spirit will arrive).
3/Al Imran-29:
Say: “Whether you hide what is in your breasts or manifest it, Allah knows it and Allah knows whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth, and Allah has Power over all things”.
3/Al Imran-30:
On that Day every soul shall find present what it has done of good (sees everything on the life-film) and it shall wish that there were a great distance between what it has done of evil and itself. And Allah makes you cautious of Himself (wants you to have piety and render your spirits back to Allah before death); and Allah is full of kindness to His servants.
3/Al Imran-31:
Say: “If you love Allah then depend (take an allegiance) on me, for Allah to love you and forgive your sins (convert your sins into merits). And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful”.
3/Al Imran-32:
Say: “Obey Allah and His Messenger; but if they turn back after this, then surely Allah does not love the disbelievers”.
3/Al Imran-33:
Surely Allah chose Adam and Noah, and the Family of Abraham and the Family of Imran over the worlds.
3/Al Imran-34:
They are offspring one of the other; and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
3/Al Imran-35:
When Imran’s wife (Hanne) said: “My Lord! Surely I have vowed to You what is in my womb (baby to be born) freely (to obey and serve You only); so accept (this) from me, verily, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing”.
3/Al Imran-36:
So when she gave birth, she said: “My Lord! I have given birth to a baby girl. And Allah knew best what she brought forth”. She said: “a boy is not like a girl, and I have named her Mary (Maryam) and I seek refuge with You for her and her offspring from the accursed Satan”.
3/Al Imran-37:
So her Lord accepted her with a good acceptance and made her grow up a good growing and gave her into the charge of Zachariah (peace be upon him). Whenever Zachariah entered the praying place (Al-Mihrâb) to see her, he found with her sustenance. He said: O Mary! Where is this food from? She said: “It is from the presence of Allah. Surely Allah gives to whom He wills without measure”.
3/Al Imran-38:
There did Zachariah pray to his Lord; he said: “My Lord! Grant me from You, a good offspring. You are indeed the All-Hearing of prayer”.
3/Al Imran-39:
Then the angels called to him as he stood praying in the sanctuary (mihrâb): “Allah gives you the glad tidings of John (Yahyâ), confirming a Word (Jesus) from Allah, and princely and chaste and a Prophet from among the improved ones (sâlihîn)”.
3/Al Imran-40:
(Zachariah) said: “My Lord! How can there be a son to me, when old age has already come upon me and my wife is barren”? (Allah) said: “Thus Allah does what He wills”.
3/Al Imran-41:
(Zachariah) said: “My Lord! Make a sign for me”. (Allah) said: “Your sign is that you shall not speak to people for three days except with signals. And remember (repeat the Name of) your Lord much and glorify (Him) night and day”.
3/Al Imran-42:
And the angels said: “O Mary! Verily, Allah has chosen you, created you pure, and chosen you over the women of the worlds”.
3/Al Imran-43:
O Mary! Be Kânitîn to your Lord (stay in prayer a long time before your Lord in reverence) and prostrate yourself, and bow with those who bow down.
3/Al Imran-44:
This is of the news of the Unseen which We reveal to you; and you were not with them when they cast their pens (to draw) which of them should be guarantor (representative) for Mary; nor were you with them when they disputed one with another.
3/Al Imran-45:
The angels had said: “O Mary! Verily, Allah gives you the glad tidings of a Word from Him. His name is Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary, held in honor in this world and in the Hereafter and one of those who are brought near (to God)”.
3/Al Imran-46:
He will speak to the people in the cradle and in manhood, and he will be one of the improved ones (sâlihîn).
3/Al Imran-47:
(Mary) said: “How shall there be a son to me and no man has touched me”? (Allah): “Just like this, Allah creates what He wills. When He has decreed a matter, He says to it only: ‘Be’! And it is”.
3/Al Imran-48:
And (Allah) will teach him the Book, and Wisdom, and the Torah and the Gospel.
3/Al Imran-49:
And will send him (Messiah, Jesus, son of Mary) as a Messenger to the Children of Israel (saying): “Verily I have brought to you a sign (miracle) from your Lord, that I make you a form of a bird out of dust (clay) then I breathe into it and it becomes a (living) bird with Allah’s Leave and I heal the blind and the leprous, and bring the dead to life with Allah’s Permission and I inform you of what you eat and what you store in your houses; most surely there is a sign in this for you, if you are believers”.
3/Al Imran-50:
And confirming that which is before me of the Torah (its verses) and to make lawful to you part of what was forbidden to you, and I have brought to you verses from your Lord. So have piety (takwâ) towards Allah and obey me.
3/Al Imran-51:
Surely Allah is my Lord and your Lord, therefore become a servant to Him; this is Sırâtı Mustakîm (the Path that delivers to Allah).
3/Al Imran-52:
Then when Jesus perceived unbelief on their part, he said: “Who are my helpers in (the Way going to) Allah”? The disciples said: “We are the helpers of Allah. We believe in Allah (wish to render our spirits back to Allah before death) and bear witness that we are the submitted ones (to Allah)”.
3/Al Imran-53:
Our Lord! We believe in what You have sent down, and we depend on (follow) the Messenger, so write us down among those who bear witness.
3/Al Imran-54:
And they schemed and Allah schemed (against them) too. And Allah is the Best of schemers (against the schemers).
3/Al Imran-55:
And Allah said: “O Jesus! It is surely I who will make you die and cause you ascend to Me, and cleans you of those who disbelieve, and set those who depend on (follow) you above those who disbelieve until the Day of Resurrection. Then to Me shall be your return. Then I will judge between you concerning that in which you used to differ”.
3/Al Imran-56:
Then as to those who disbelieve, I will punish them with a severe torment in the world and in the Hereafter, and for them there shall be no helpers.
3/Al Imran-57:
And as to those who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death) and do improving deeds (that cleanses the souls’ hearts), their reward is paid; and Allah does not love the wrong-doers.
3/Al Imran-58:
What We read (and explain) to you is of the Verses and of the Zikir (Remembrance that contains Judgment and Wisdom).
3/Al Imran-59:
Surely the likeness of Jesus with Allah is as the likeness of Adam; He created him from dust, then said to him: “Be”! (and he was).
3/Al Imran-60:
The truth is from your Lord, so do not be of those who doubt.
3/Al Imran-61:
Then whoever disputes with you after what has come to you of the knowledge, then say: “Come, let us call our sons and your sons and our women and your women (gather altogether), then let us be earnest in prayer and invoke the Curse of Allah on the liars”.
3/Al Imran-62:
Verily! This is the true narrative (about the story of Jesus) and there is no god but Allah; and most surely Allah is certainly the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
3/Al Imran-63:
But if they still turn back, then surely Allah knows the mischief-makers.
3/Al Imran-64:
Say: “O People of the Book! Come to an equitable word between us and you (Tawhid-oneness). We shall not serve any but Allah and that we shall not associate anything with Him, and (that) some of us shall not take others for lords besides Allah”; and if they turn back, then say: “Bear witness that we are the surrenders (to Allah, Muslimûn)”.
3/Al Imran-65:
O People of the Book! Why do you argue about Abraham, while the Torah and the Gospel were not sent down before him? (They were sent after him) Do you not exercise your mind?
3/Al Imran-66:
Indeed, this is who you are! You argued about that of which you have no knowledge; why then do you argue about that of which you have no knowledge? It is Allah who knows, and you do not know.
3/Al Imran-67:
Abraham was neither a Jew nor a Christian but he was a “Hanîf” (who believed in the Oneness of Allah, rendering the spirit back to Allah before death and submitting to Allah) a Muslim (submitted to Allah), and he was not of the associators.
3/Al Imran-68:
Most surely the nearest of the men to Abraham are those who depended on (followed) him and this Prophet (Muhammad) and those who believe (who became âmenû, who wished to reach Allah before death) and Allah is the Friend of the believers.
3/Al Imran-69:
A party of the people of the Book wished to make you fall into Misguidance. They can not make anyone fall into Misguidance except themselves. But they do not realize.
3/Al Imran-70:
O People of the Book! Why do you deny the Verses of Allah while you bear witness?
3/Al Imran-71:
O People of the Book! Why do you mix the truth with the falsehood and knowingly conceal the truth?
3/Al Imran-72:
And a party of the People of the Book say: “Believe in the morning in that which has been sent down to those who believe (who are âmenû) and disbelieve in (deny, reject) it in the evening, so that they may turn away (from their faith, their religion)”.
3/Al Imran-73:
And (the people of the Book) said: “Do not believe but in him who follows your religion”. (My beloved) say: “Surely the Hidayet is reaching Allah (spirit’s returning back to Allah before death)”. Someone to be given, similar of what you were given. Are they contending with you before your Lord? Say: “Surely all the Virtue is in the Hand of Allah. He gives it to whom He wills and Allah is All-Embracing, All-Knowing”.
3/Al Imran-74:
He assigns His Mercy to whom He wills and Allah is the Owner of Great Virtue.
3/Al Imran-75:
Of the People of the Book is he who, if entrusted with a heap (of gold), will readily return it back; and of them there is he who, if entrusted a single silver coin, will not repay it unless you constantly stand demanding, because they say: “There is upon us no way (no responsibility) about the illiterates”.
3/Al Imran-76:
No, (it is not so)! Whoever fulfils his covenant (made with Allah) and has piety (Takwâ), verily, then Allah loves the pious (the owners of takwâ).
3/Al Imran-77:
Verily, those who purchase a small gain at the cost of Allah’s Covenant and their oaths, it is they for whom there will be no portion in the Hereafter and Allah will not speak to them and He will not look at them on the Day of Resurrection. And will not exonerate them and for them there is a painful torment.
3/Al Imran-78:
And most surely there is a party of them (people of the Book) who distort the Book with their tongues that you may consider it to be of the Book and it is not from the Book and they say that it is from Allah even though it is not from Allah; and they speak a lie against Allah knowingly.
3/Al Imran-79:
It is not (possible) for any human being that Allah should give him the Book and the Wisdom and the Prophet-hood, then he should say to the mankind: “Be servants to me apart from Allah” but rather say: ‘as learned men of religion by virtue of your constant study and teaching of the Book onto others’, “be Godly servants” (devote yourselves to God)”.
3/Al Imran-80:
And neither would He enjoin you that you should take the angels and the prophets for lords; what! Would He enjoin you with the unbelief after you became Muslimûn (submitted ones).
3/Al Imran-81:
When Allah took the Covenant of the Prophets, (He said): “I have given you the Book and the Wisdom, then a Rasul (Messenger) comes to you confirming that which is with you (Books Allah had given to you), you must definitely believe in him and you must definitely help him”. Allah said: “Do you agree and accept (My Oath)”? (They) said: “We agree”. (Allah) said: “Then bear witness and I am of the bearers of witness with you”.
3/Al Imran-82:
Whoever therefore turns back after this (denies the Messenger that will come after the Prophets), they are the Fâsiqûn (those who are not in the Way of Allah or have gone out of it, transgressors).
3/Al Imran-83:
Is it then other than Allah’s Religion that they seek? And to Him submit whoever is in the heavens and in the earth willingly and unwillingly, and to Him shall they be returned.
3/Al Imran-84:
Say: “We believe in Allah and in what has been sent down to us, and what was sent down to Abraham, Ishmael, Isaac, Jacob and the sons of Jacob, and what was given to Moses and Jesus and to the prophets from their Lord; We do not make any distinction between any of them, and to Him (Allah) we have surrendered”.
3/Al Imran-85:
And whoever seeks a religion other than Islam (Submission to Allah), it shall not be accepted from him, and in the Hereafter he shall be of the losers.
3/Al Imran-86:
How shall Allah guide (deliver to Hidayet) a people who disbelieved after their believing and they had borne witness that the Messenger is true and the clear evidences had come to them; and Allah does not make the unjust people attain Guidance (Hidayet).
3/Al Imran-87:
Their punishment is that upon them (fâsık) is the Curse of Allah and the angels and of the mankind, all together.
3/Al Imran-88:
Abiding in it (Curse) forever; the torment will not be lightened from them and they will not be looked at.
3/Al Imran-89:
Except those who afterwards repent and improve (cleanse their souls’ hearts), then surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
3/Al Imran-90:
Surely, those who disbelieve after their believing, then increase in disbelief, their (those who fall into Misguidance for the third time) repentance will not be accepted and these are they who are in Misguidance.
3/Al Imran-91:
Surely, those who disbelieve and die while they are disbelievers, the earth full of gold shall not be accepted from one of them even if he should offer to ransom himself with it; these it is who shall have a painful torment and for them there shall be no helpers.
3/Al Imran-92:
By no means shall you attain Al-Birr until you spend out (for Allah) of what you love; and whatever you spend (from what Allah provides you, what you spend for Allah), Allah surely knows it.
3/Al Imran-93:
All food was lawful to the Children of Israel, except what they made unlawful for themselves before the Torah was sent down. Say: “Bring then the Torah and read it, if you are truthful (in your oaths and words)”.
3/Al Imran-94:
Then whoever fabricates a lie against Allah after this, they are the wrong-doers.
3/Al Imran-95:
Say: “Allah has spoken the truth. Therefore follow the religion of Abraham, as being Hanîfâ and he was not of the associators”.
3/Al Imran-96:
Most surely the first Beyt (House) appointed for the men was that at Bekka (Makka), full of blessing and a Guidance (Hidayet) for the worlds.
3/Al Imran-97:
In it (Beytullah) are manifest signs, the standing place of Abraham, and whoever enters it shall be secure, and pilgrimage to the House is (incumbent) upon the men for the sake of Allah, (upon) every one who is able to undertake the journey (fulfill pilgrimage) to it; and whoever disbelieves, then surely Allah is not in need of the worlds (does not need anything).
3/Al Imran-98:
Say: “O People of the Book! Why do you disbelieve in the Verses of Allah? And Allah is a Witness of what you do”.
3/Al Imran-99:
Say: “O People of the Book! Why do you hinder people who believe from the Way of Allah? As you seek to make it crooked, while you are witnesses (to the truths) and Allah is not unaware of what you do”.
3/Al Imran-100:
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! If you obey a party from among those who have been given the Book, they will turn you back as unbelievers after you have believed.
3/Al Imran-101:
And how would you deny, while unto you are read the Verses of Allah and among you is His Messenger? And whoever holds fast to Allah, he is indeed guided to Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path that delivers to Allah).
3/Al Imran-102:
O you who believe (who are âmenû, who wish to reach Allah before death)! Have piety (Takwâ) towards Allah with His utmost piety, and do not die unless you are submitted (to Allah).
3/Al Imran-103:
And hold fast, all together, to the Rope of Allah and do not divide into groups. And remember the Blessing of Allah on you, for you were enemies (one to another), then He brought your hearts together, so that, by His (Allah’s) Blessing, you became brothers; and you were on the brink of a pit of Fire, and He saved you from it. Thus Allah makes His Verses clear to you, that you may attain Guidance Hidayet).
3/Al Imran-104:
Let there arise from you a group of people (Murshids-Religious Guides) who command with Al-Ma’rûf (all that is good and right), and forbid from Al-Munkar (the wrong) and it is they who are in salvation.
3/Al Imran-105:
And do not be like those who became divided and disagreed after the clear proofs had come to them, and for them there is a tremendous torment.
3/Al Imran-106:
On the Day when (some) faces shall turn white and (some) faces shall turn black. To those whose faces turn black: “Did you disbelieve after your believing? Taste there the torment because you disbelieved”.
3/Al Imran-107:
And as to those whose faces turn white, they shall be in Allah’s Mercy; in it (Allah’s Mercy) they shall abide forever.
3/Al Imran-108:
These are the Verses of Allah which We recite (read and explain) to you with truth, and Allah wills no injustice to the worlds.
3/Al Imran-109:
And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah’s; and to Allah all orders (affairs) are returned.
3/Al Imran-110:
You became the good individuals within the community (Umma, nation) that is raised up for mankind; you enjoin what is right (Al-Ma’rûf) and forbid what is wrong (Al- Munkar) and believe in Allah; and if the People of the Book had believed, it would have been better for them; of them some are believers and most of them are transgressors (Al-Fâsiqûn).
3/Al Imran-111:
They shall by no means harm you but causing Calvary; and if they fight with you, they shall turn their backs to you and run, then they shall not be helped.
3/Al Imran-112:
The stamp of abasement is imprinted on them wherever they are, except those who hold fast to a Rope from Allah (Sıratı Mustakîm) and to a rope from the men [to the Murshid-Religious Guide who will deliver them to Allah] and they have the Wrath of Allah, and the stamp of humiliation is imprinted on them; this is because they disbelieved in the Verses of Allah and killed the Prophets unjustly; this is because they rebelled (against Allah) and transgressed beyond all bounds.
3/Al Imran-113:
Yet they are not (all) alike; of the People of the Book there is a community who recite the Verses of Allah by standing during the hours of the night and prostrate themselves.
3/Al Imran-114:
They believe in Allah and the Latter Day, and they enjoin what is right (Al-Ma’rûf) and forbid what is wrong (Al-Munkar) and vie with one another in good works. They are of the improved ones (Sâlihîn).
3/Al Imran-115:
And whatever good they do, nothing will be denied of them. Allah knows well those who are pious (the owners of takwâ).
3/Al Imran-116:
Those who disbelieve, surely neither their wealth nor their children shall avail them in the least against Allah; and these are the inmates of the Fire, therein they shall abide forever.
3/Al Imran-117:
The likeness of what they (disbelievers) spend in the life of this world (for ostentation and boasting) is as the likeness of a biting, icy, scorching wind, which smites the harvest of people who have wronged themselves (who always lose degrees by not obeying the Orders and Prohibitions of Allah) laying it waste, and Allah did not wrong them, but they wronged themselves.
3/Al Imran-118:
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Do not take for intimate friends other than yourselves (Mumin ones), they do not fall short of inflicting loss upon you; they love what distresses you; vehement hatred has already appeared from their mouths (words), and what their breasts conceal (hatred) is even greater. If you have been mindful, We have had made the Verses clear to you.
3/Al Imran-119:
You (believers) are like this; you love them while they do not love you, and you believe in the Book the whole of it; and when they meet you they say: “We believe, and when they are alone, they bite the tips of their fingers with rage”. Say: “Die in your rage; surely Allah knows what is in the breasts”.
3/Al Imran-120:
If a good befalls you, it grieves them, and if an evil strikes you, they rejoice at it; and if you are patient and have piety, their scheme will not injure you in any way; surely Allah surrounds (knows) all that they do (with His knowledge).
3/Al Imran-121:
And you left your family in the morning to post the believers at their (appropriate) stations for the battle and Allah is All-Hearing, All-Knowing.
3/Al Imran-122:
When two parties of you were to become fainthearted and about to lose, and Allah was Protecting friend to both (parties). In Allah let the believers put their trust.
3/Al Imran-123:
And Allah did certainly assist you at (the battle of) Badr when you were a weak little force (in number and weapon). So have piety (takwâ) towards Allah. It is hoped that you may be thankful.
3/Al Imran-124:
Then you said to the believers: Does it not suffice you that your Lord should assist you with three thousand of the angels sent down?
3/Al Imran-125:
Indeed; if you remain patient and have piety, and they come upon you suddenly, your Lord will assist you with five thousand of these angels with marks.
3/Al Imran-126:
And Allah made (this promise of help) it not but as a message of good news for you and as an assurance to your hearts. And the assistance) is only in the presence of Allah, the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
3/Al Imran-127:
(This help is to) cut down (destroy) a section of the disbelievers or to make them miserable so that they turn back and leave in disappointment.
3/Al Imran-128:
For you there is no command (for you to do); whether (Allah) either accepts their repentance or torments them; for surely they are wrongdoers.
3/Al Imran-129:
And whatever is in the heavens and whatever is in the earth is Allah’s; He forgives whom He wills, and torments whom He wills. And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.
3/Al Imran-130:
O you who believe (who are âmenû)! Do not eat up usury doubled and multiplied, and have piety towards Allah that you may attain Salvation.
3/Al Imran-131:
And guard yourselves against the Fire which has been prepared for the unbelievers.
3/Al Imran-132:
And obey Allah and the Messenger that you may be shown Mercy.
3/Al Imran-133:
And rush to forgiveness from your Lord and to Paradise, that is prepared for the owners of piety (takwâ) which the extensiveness of it is as the heavens and the earth.
3/Al Imran-134:
Those (owners of piety) who spend (for the sake of Allah) in abundance and in tightness and those who repress their anger and pardon others; and Allah loves Al-Muhsinûn (those who have submitted their physical bodies to Allah).
3/Al Imran-135:
And they (owners of piety), when they do wrong or harm their souls, do Zikir (remember the name of Allah) and ask forgiveness for their sins. And who forgives the sins except Allah? And they do not knowingly persist in what they have done (wrong).
3/Al Imran-136:
Their reward is forgiveness from their Lord and Gardens beneath which rivers flow, to abide in them forever. How excellent is the reward of the (such) workers.
3/Al Imran-137:
Many ways of Allah have passed away before you (in many nations), so travel through the earth, and see what was the end of the rejecters.
3/Al Imran-138:
These (Verses) are a clear statement and guidance for the mankind and admonition for the owners of piety (takwâ).
3/Al Imran-139:
So do not become loose, nor be grieving, and you shall be superior if you are Mü'min.
3/Al Imran-140:
If a wound has afflicted you, a wound like it has also afflicted the other people and We bring these days (happy and sad) to men by turns, for Allah to know those who believe and take witnesses from among you, and Allah does not love the wrongdoers.
3/Al Imran-141:
That’s for Allah to purge the believers and destroy the unbelievers.
3/Al Imran-142:
Did you suppose that you would enter Paradise before Allah had tested those of you who really strived and tested those who are the patient?
3/Al Imran-143:
And you had certainly wished for death (martyrdom) before you encountered it, and you have now seen it while you were looking on (death for martyrdom).
3/Al Imran-144:
And Muhammad is no more then a Messenger, and Messengers have passed away before him as well. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels? And whoever turns back upon his heels, he will by no means do harm to Allah in the least; and Allah will reward the grateful soon.
3/Al Imran-145:
No one dies except by Allah’s Leave and it (death) is an appointed term; and whoever desires the reward of this world, I shall give him of it, and whoever desires the reward of the Hereafter, I shall give him of it; and We will reward the grateful soon.
3/Al Imran-146:
And there are many amongst the prophets and along fought with him Ribbiyyûn (religious guides possessing knowledge and insight). But they never lost assurance due to what afflicted them in the cause of Allah, nor did they weaken or submit. And Allah loves the patient ones.
3/Al Imran-147:
And their saying was no other than that they said: “Our Lord! Forgive us our sins and our extravagance in our affair, and make firm our feet and help us against the disbelieving people”.
3/Al Imran-148:
So Allah gave them the reward of this world and better reward of the Hereafter and Allah loves the Muhsinûn.
3/Al Imran-149:
O you who believe (are âmenû)! If you obey those who disbelieve, they will turn you back upon your heels, and you will turn back just like losers.
3/Al Imran-150:
Nay! Allah is your Maulâ (Helper) and He is the Best of helpers.
3/Al Imran-151:
We will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve, because they set up with Allah that for which He has sent down no Sultan (proof). Their abode is the Fire (Hell) and (how) evil is the abode of the wrong-doers.
3/Al Imran-152:
And Allah did indeed fulfill His Promise to you when you were killing them with His Permission; after He showed you which you love (the victory) you became weak-hearted and fell to disputing about the order and you rebelled; of you were some who desired this world (ran for the booty) and of you were some who desired the Hereafter (they remained in their places until they became martyrs); then He turned you away from them that He might try you (you turned back being defeated) and (in spite of this) He has certainly pardoned you and Allah is Most Virtuous to the believers.
3/Al Imran-153:
You fleeing (the mountain) without looking aside at anyone while the Messenger (of Allah) was calling you from behind, so grief after grief befell you, so that you might not grieve for what you missed (victory, booty) or what befell you (calamities). And Allah is Well-Aware of all that you do.
3/Al Imran-154:
Then after the grief He sent down drowsiness upon you that gave you comfort. It overtook a party of you, while another party was thinking about themselves (was falling into the fear of death) and assumed wrongly of Allah, the assumption of Ignorance. They said: “Have we any part in this command”? Say: “Surely all commands belong to Allah”. They hide within themselves what they would not reveal to you. They say: “If we had any share with the command, none of us would have been killed here”. Say: “Even if you had remained in your homes, those for whom death was decreed would certainly have gone forth to the place of their death, but that Allah might test what is in your breasts and purge what was in your hearts (from doubt); and Allah knows what is in the breasts”.
3/Al Imran-155:
Those of you who turned back on the day when the two parties met, it was Satan who sought to cause them to fall into abasement because of some of that which they have earned (such as; not to obey the orders of the Messenger and to run to the booty). But Allah, indeed, has forgiven them. Surely, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Gentle.
3/Al Imran-156:
O you who believe (who are âmenû). Do not be like those who disbelieve and say of their brothers when they travel in the earth or go out to fight: Had they been with us, they would not have died or been killed, so that Allah made to cause an intense regret in their hearts. It is Allah who gives life and causes death. And Allah is All-Seeing of what you do.
3/Al Imran-157:
And if you are killed or die in the Way of Allah, certainly there is forgiveness and mercy from Allah far better than all that they amass (of worldly wealth).
3/Al Imran-158:
And whether you die or are killed, verily, unto Allah you shall be gathered.
3/Al Imran-159:
It was by the Mercy from Allah that you were lenient with them. Had you been rough and harsh-hearted, they would have dispersed from around you; pardon them therefore and ask forgiveness for them; and take counsel with them in the affair; then when you are resolved, put your trust in Allah, certainly, Allah loves those who put their trust (in Him).
3/Al Imran-160:
If Allah helps you, then there is none that can overcome you, and if He forsakes you, who is there after Him that can assist you? And in Allah let the believers put their trust.
3/Al Imran-161:
It is not for any Prophet to take a part of the booty in secret and whoever takes from the booty in secrecy (betrays), he shall come forward with what he took secretly on the Day of Resurrection. Then everyone shall be paid back fully what they have earned, and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.
3/Al Imran-162:
Is then he who follows the Pleasure of Allah like him who has made himself deserving of a Displeasure from Allah, and his abode is Hell? And it is a terrible destination.
3/Al Imran-163:
Their (who follow the Pleasure of Allah) grades are with Allah and Allah is All-Seeing of what they do.
3/Al Imran-164:
Certainly Allah confers a Blessing (the Spirit of the Imam of the Time) upon (the heads of) the believers when He sends in them a Messenger from among themselves. He explains to them His Verses and cleanses them and teaches them the Book and Wisdom, while before that (before wishing to reach Allah) they were indeed in a manifest Misguidance.
3/Al Imran-165:
When a tribulation befell you after you had certainly inflicted (your enemies) with twice as much, you said: Whence is this? Say: “It is from your own souls; surely Allah has Power over all things”.
3/Al Imran-166:
And what befell you (adversity) on the day when the two parties met, was by Allah’s Leave, in order that He might know (determine) the believers.
3/Al Imran-167:
And that He might know the ones who cause factions (disbelievers); and it was said to them: Come, fight in the Way of Allah, or defend yourselves. They said: “If we knew fighting, we would certainly have followed you”. They were on that day of permission much nearer to unbelief than to belief. They say with their mouths what is not in their hearts; and Allah best knows what they conceal.
3/Al Imran-168:
Those (disbelievers) who said of their brothers while they sat (did not go to war): “If they had obeyed us, they would not been killed”. Say (to them): “Avert death from yourselves, if you are truthful (in your saying)”.
3/Al Imran-169:
And do not reckon those who are killed in the Way of Allah as dead; nay, they are alive and are provided sustenance in the presence of their Lord.
3/Al Imran-170:
Rejoicing in what Allah has bestowed upon them of His Virtue and they wish to give glad tidings to those who have not joined them but are left behind (those who did not yet become martyrs): that there shall be no fear for them neither shall they grieve.
3/Al Imran-171:
They wish to give glad tidings of Blessing and Virtue from Allah and that Allah will not waste the reward of the believers.
3/Al Imran-172:
They (believers) even responded to the call of Allah and the Messenger after the wound had befallen them, for those of them who are the best ones (who fulfill all the Orders of Allah and do not commit all that He has forbidden) and attained to the (greatest) piety (Azîm takwâ) there is the greatest reward (ecrun azîm).
3/Al Imran-173:
Those (the best ones) to whom the people said: “Surely the men have gathered against you (in order to attack you), therefore fear them, but this (statement) increased their faith”, and they said: “Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Proxy”.
3/Al Imran-174:
So they returned with a Blessing and Virtue from Allah; no evil touched them and they followed the Pleasure of Allah; and Allah is the Owner of the Greatest Virtue.
3/Al Imran-175:
Satan causes only his friends (those who take him for friends) to fear. So do not fear them and fear Me (Alone) if you are believers.
3/Al Imran-176:
And let not those grieve you who fall into unbelief hastily; surely they can do no harm to Allah at all; Allah wills that He should not give them any portion in the Hereafter, and for them there is a great torment.
3/Al Imran-177:
Indeed, those who purchase disbelief in exchange for faith, and for them there is a painful torment.
3/Al Imran-178:
And let not those who disbelieve reckon that We prolong their time for their good. We only give them respite that they may grow in sinfulness and for them is a disgracing torment.
3/Al Imran-179:
Allah will not leave the believers in the state in which you are now (in the state in which the believers and the ones who seem to be believers are together) until He separates the evil (bad) from the good; nor is Allah going to make you acquainted with the Unseen, but Allah chooses of His Messengers whom He wills (He makes him acquainted with the Unseen); therefore believe in Allah and His Messengers; and if you believe (if you become âmenû) and have piety, then for you is the Greatest Reward (Wage).
3/Al Imran-180:
And let not those deem, who are niggardly in giving away that which Allah has granted them out of His Virtue, that it is good for them. Indeed it is worse for them; what they are niggard about shall be tied to their necks like a collar on the Day of Resurrection; and Allah’s is the heritage of the heavens and the earth; and Allah is Well-Acquainted with all that you do.
3/Al Imran-181:
Allah has certainly heard the saying of those who said: “Surely Allah is poor and we are rich”. We shall certainly write down their saying and their killing the prophets unjustly and We shall say: “Taste now the torment of the Blaze”.
3/Al Imran-182:
This (torment) is not because Allah is unjust to servants but for what your hands have put forth (you have done).
3/Al Imran-183:
They said: “Surely Allah has enjoined us that we should not believe in any Messenger until he brings us an offering which the fire consumes”. Say: “Indeed, there came to you Messengers before me with the clear proofs and with that which you demand; why then did you kill them if you are truthful”?
3/Al Imran-184:
Then if they reject you (do not grieve), so were Messengers rejected before you, who came with the clear evidences and written pages and Glorified Books.
3/Al Imran-185:
Every soul shall taste death, and yet you shall only be paid fully your wage (worthy of you work) on the Day of Resurrection; then whoever is removed far away from the Fire and is made to enter Paradise, he indeed is in salvation; and the life of this world is nothing but enjoyment of deception.
3/Al Imran-186:
You shall certainly be tried in your possessions and your lives, and you shall certainly hear much annoying talk from those who have been given the Book before you and from those who are associators; and if you remain patient and have piety (takwâ); then verily, this is one of the greatest affair.
3/Al Imran-187:
And Allah took a covenant from those who had been given the Book, saying: “You shall certainly make it known to the people and you shall not hide it”; but they cast it (the covenant) behind their backs and sold it for a small price; so evil is that which they purchased.
3/Al Imran-188:
Do not reckon that those (of the People of the Book, saying it is from the Book) who rejoice for what they have brought (for what they have done by hiding the truth and not explaining it) and love that they should be praised for what they have not done-so, by no means think them to be safe from the torment. And for them there is a painful torment.
3/Al Imran-189:
And Allah’s is the Sovereignty of the heavens and the earth and Allah is Powerful over all things.
3/Al Imran-190:
Most surely in the creation of the heavens and the earth and the alternation of the night and the day there are absolutely Signs for Ulûl elbâb (those who are the owners of the innermost secret treasures of Allah because of their attaining to a continuous remembrance of Allah).
3/Al Imran-191:
Those (ulûl elbab, those who are the owners of the innermost secret treasures of Allah) who remember (repeat the Name of) Allah standing and sitting and lying on their sides, and reflect on the creation of the heavens and the earth. (And say) “Our Lord! You have not created (all) this in vain, Glory be to You; Protect us then from the torment of the Fire”!
3/Al Imran-192:
Our Lord! Surely whomsoever You make enter the Fire, You have brought him to disgrace and for the wrong-doers there are any no helpers.
3/Al Imran-193:
Our Lord! We have heard a caller calling to the Faith (saying): Believe in your Lord, so we did believe (submitting to the caller became amenu); our Lord! Forgive us therefore our sins and cover our evil deeds and make us die along with Al-Abrâr (who reach Allah and become a friend of Allah, worthy of Heaven).
3/Al Imran-194:
Our Lord! Grant us what You did promise to us through Your Messengers, and do not abase us on the Day of Resurrection. You never break Your Promise.
3/Al Imran-195:
So their Lord responded to their prayers (and said): “Never will I allow to be lost the work of a worker of you, whether male or female, you are of one another”; they, therefore, who emigrated, and were driven out of their homes, and suffered harm in My Way, and fought and were killed, assuredly, I will cover their evil deeds, and I will most certainly make them enter Heavens beneath which the rivers flow; a Reward from Allah; and Allah is with Him the Best of rewards.
3/Al Imran-196:
Be not deceived by the travel of the disbelievers throughout the land.
3/Al Imran-197:
(This is) a brief stead! Then their abode is Hell, and evil is the resting-place.
3/Al Imran-198:
But as to those who have piety (takwâ) towards their Lord, for them are Heavens beneath which the rivers flow, abiding in them forever and tables of feast from Allah. And that which is with Allah is best for Al-Abrâr.
3/Al Imran-199:
And most surely of the People of the Book there are those who believe in Allah and that which has been sent down to you, and in that which had been sent down to them; they have reverence (awe) towards Allah; they do not take a small price for the Verses of Allah; Verily, their reward is in the Presence of their Lord and Allah is Swift in reckoning.
3/Al Imran-200:
O you who believe (those who wish to render their spirits back to Allah before death)! Be patient and be the owners of Patience and establish nexus and have piety towards Allah, so that you may attain Salvation.
