قَالَ إِنَّمَا أُوتِيتُهُ عَلَى عِلْمٍ عِندِي أَوَلَمْ يَعْلَمْ أَنَّ اللَّهَ قَدْ أَهْلَكَ مِن قَبْلِهِ مِنَ القُرُونِ مَنْ هُوَ أَشَدُّ مِنْهُ قُوَّةً وَأَكْثَرُ جَمْعًا وَلَا يُسْأَلُ عَن ذُنُوبِهِمُ الْمُجْرِمُونَ
English Transliteration: Keala innamea ooteetuhu aalea ilmin indee, a va lam yaa’lam annalleaha kaad ahlaka min kaablihee minal kurooni man huva ashaddu minhu kuvvatan va aksaru cam’ea(cam’aan), va lea yus’alu aan zunoobihimul mucrimoon(mucrimoona).
(Qarun) said: “This (wealth) has been given to me only because of the knowledge I possess”. Does he not know that Allah had destroyed before him of the generations who were mightier in strength than he and greater in the amount (of riches) they had collected? And the guilty shall not be questioned of their sins.
