إِنَّ قَارُونَ كَانَ مِن قَوْمِ مُوسَى فَبَغَى عَلَيْهِمْ وَآتَيْنَاهُ مِنَ الْكُنُوزِ مَا إِنَّ مَفَاتِحَهُ لَتَنُوءُ بِالْعُصْبَةِ أُولِي الْقُوَّةِ إِذْ قَالَ لَهُ قَوْمُهُ لَا تَفْرَحْ إِنَّ اللَّهَ لَا يُحِبُّ الْفَرِحِينَ
English Transliteration: Inna kearoona keana min kaavmi moosea, fa bagea aalayhim, va eatayneahu minal kunoozi mea inna mafeatihaahu la tanoou bil usbati ulil kuvvah(kuvvati), iz keala lahu kaavmuhu lea tafraah innaalleaha lea yuhıbbul fariheen(fariheena).
Surely Qarun was of the people of Moses. Then he rampaged against them. We gave him treasures whose keys would burden a band of strong men. His people had said to him: “Do not exult (be arrogant) surely Allah does not love the exultant (arrogant).
