Surah Al-Mu'minun
23/Al-Mu'minun-1: Kaad aflahaal mu’minun(mu’minuna)., 23/Al-Mu'minun-2: Allazeena hum fee saaleatihim heashioon(heashioona)., 23/Al-Mu'minun-3: Vallazeena hum aanil laagvi mu’ridoon(mu’ridoona).
Al-Mu'minun, Surah The Believers (Qur'an: Surat-23-Al-Mu'minun)
Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem
23/Al-Mu'minun-1:
The believers have indeed reached Salvation.
23/Al-Mu'minun-2:
The believers have indeed reached Salvation.
23/Al-Mu'minun-3:
And who stay away from what is vain.
23/Al-Mu'minun-4:
And who are givers of alms (Az-Zakat).
23/Al-Mu'minun-5:
And who guard their chastity.
23/Al-Mu'minun-6:
Except before their mates or those whom their right hands possess (their concubines), for that they surely are not blamed.
23/Al-Mu'minun-7:
But who ever seeks to go beyond that, these are they that exceed the limits.
23/Al-Mu'minun-8:
And those who are the keepers (loyal ones) of their trusts and their covenants.
23/Al-Mu'minun-9:
And those who guard (continue) their prayers.
23/Al-Mu'minun-10:
These are they who are the heirs (inheritors).
23/Al-Mu'minun-11:
They shall inherit the heavens of Firdaus, where they shall abide forever.
23/Al-Mu'minun-12:
And certainly We created human out of an extract of clay (organic and inorganic damp earth).
23/Al-Mu'minun-13:
Then We made him a Nutfah (small seed), in a firm resting place.
23/Al-Mu'minun-14:
Then We made from a Nutfah (small seed) an “Alaqah” (what is hung on to the wall of the womb from one point), then We made the “Alaqah” into a little lump of a chewy flesh, then We made bones out of that chewy flesh, then We clothed the bones with flesh and then We built (shaped) it with another creation. This is how Blessed is Allah, the Best of the creators!
23/Al-Mu'minun-15:
Then after that you will most surely die.
23/Al-Mu'minun-16:
Then surely on the Doomsday you shall be resurrected.
23/Al-Mu'minun-17:
And certainly We have created above you seven paths and never are We heedless of Creating.
23/Al-Mu'minun-18:
And We send down water from the sky with a predestined amount, then We caused with it (lakes, rivers, seas) in the earth, and most surely We are Able to take it away (with condensation).
23/Al-Mu'minun-19:
Then We caused to grow for you thereby gardens of date-palms and grapes. For you there are many fruits in them and from them do you eat.
23/Al-Mu'minun-20:
And there is a tree that grows out of Mount Sinai which produces oil and it is a condiment for the eaters.
23/Al-Mu'minun-21:
And most surely there is a lesson for you in the animals. We make you drink of what is in their bellies, and there are in them numerous benefits for you and of them you eat.
23/Al-Mu'minun-22:
And on them and on the ships you are carried.
23/Al-Mu'minun-23:
And certainly We sent Noah to his people. Then he said (to them): “O my people! Become servants to Allah. You have no god other than Him”. Will you not then be the owners of piety (will you not then wish to reach Allah before death)?
23/Al-Mu'minun-24:
And the elites of those who disbelieved from among his people said: “He is nothing but a human being like yourselves. He desires that he may have superiority over you, and if Allah had willed, He would certainly have sent down angels. We have not heard of this from our forefathers”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-25:
He is not but a man possessed with madness, so watch him (keep him under supervision) for a while.
23/Al-Mu'minun-26:
(Noah) said: “My Lord! Help me because they have belied me”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-27:
So We revealed to him to make the Ark before Our Eyes (under Our Control) and with Our Revelation. Then when Our Command came and the Tennur boiled, take into it of every kind a pair (male and female) and your followers, except those among them against whom the Word has gone forth. And do not address Me in favor of those who have done wrong (do not ask forgiveness for them). Surely they are to be drowned (they are already decided to be drowned).
23/Al-Mu'minun-28:
Then when you are embarked in the Ark, you and those with you should say: “All praise is due to Allah who delivered us from the people who are wrong-doers (oppressors)”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-29:
And say: “My Lord, cause me disembark in such a blessed disembarking, and You are the Best to disembark”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-30:
Most surely there are Signs in this, and most surely We are ever testing.
23/Al-Mu'minun-31:
Then We created after them another generation.
23/Al-Mu'minun-32:
So We sent among them a Messenger that is from them, to become servants to Allah. You have no deity other than Him. Will you not then have piety (will you not then wish to reach Allah before death)?
23/Al-Mu'minun-33:
And the leaders of his people who disbelieved and belied meeting Allah before death, whom We had given plenty to enjoy in this world’s life, said: “This is but a human being like yourselves, eating of what you eat from and drinking of what you drink”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-34:
And if you obey a human like yourselves, then most surely you will be one of those who have fallen into Loss (Husran).
23/Al-Mu'minun-35:
Does he promise you that when you are dead and become dust and bones, you shall then be brought forth (from dust)?
23/Al-Mu'minun-36:
Pity, very pity is that which you are promised.
23/Al-Mu'minun-37:
It (that life) is not but our life of this world! We die and we live! And we shall not be raised again.
23/Al-Mu'minun-38:
He (Messenger) is only a man who has forged a lie against Allah, and we are not to believe in him.
23/Al-Mu'minun-39:
(The Messenger) said: “My Lord! Help me because they belie me”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-40:
(Allah said): “In a little (while) they will most certainly be regretful”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-41:
Then the Saihah (a terrible sound wave, shriek) overtook them rightfully (as they deserved), and We made them particles. Then away with the people (from the Mercy of Allah) who are wrong-doers!
23/Al-Mu'minun-42:
Then, after them, We created other generations.
23/Al-Mu'minun-43:
No nation can advance their term, nor can they delay it.
23/Al-Mu'minun-44:
Then We sent Our Messengers in succession. Whenever its Messenger came to a nation, they belied him; then We (destroyed them) one after another and We made them stories. So away (from the Mercy of Allah) with a people who do not believe.
23/Al-Mu'minun-45:
Then We sent Moses and his brother Aaron with Our Verses, and a clear Sultan (the Torah).
23/Al-Mu'minun-46:
(We sent Moses and Aaron) to Pharaoh and his notables, but they behaved arrogantly and they became insolent people.
23/Al-Mu'minun-47:
Then they said: “Shall we believe in two human beings (Moses and Aaron) like ourselves, whereas their people are servants (slaves) to us”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-48:
So they belied them both and became of those who were destroyed.
23/Al-Mu'minun-49:
And certainly We gave Moses the Book that they may have Hidayet.
23/Al-Mu'minun-50:
And We made the son of Mary (Jesus) and his mother a Sign (miracle) and We gave them a shelter on a lofty ground having meadows and springs.
23/Al-Mu'minun-51:
O Messengers! Eat of the good (clean and lawful blessings) and do improving deeds (that purify the soul). Surely I know the best what you do.
23/Al-Mu'minun-52:
And surely this nation of yours is a single nation, and I am your Lord. So have piety towards Me (wish to reach Me before death).
23/Al-Mu'minun-53:
But they cut off the affairs (of the Religion) among themselves into sects, each part rejoicing in that which they accepted.
23/Al-Mu'minun-54:
Therefore leave them in their Misguidance till a time.
23/Al-Mu'minun-55:
Do they think that We support them with wealth and children?
23/Al-Mu'minun-56:
(Do they think that) We hasten to them the good things? Nay, they are not aware.
23/Al-Mu'minun-57:
Surely those are they who feel the fear of their Lord.
23/Al-Mu'minun-58:
And those are they who believe in the Verses of their Lord.
23/Al-Mu'minun-59:
And those are they who do not associate (anything) with their Lord.
23/Al-Mu'minun-60:
And they give what they have to give and their hearts tremble because they are the returned (reached) ones to their Lord.
23/Al-Mu'minun-61:
Those race in good things and they are foremost in them (in goodness).
23/Al-Mu'minun-62:
And We do not lay on any soul a burden except according to its capacity (to the extent of its ability). With Us is a Book (life film) which speaks the truth and they shall not be wronged.
23/Al-Mu'minun-63:
Nay, their hearts are in heedlessness (misguidance) and they have besides this other deeds which they do.
23/Al-Mu'minun-64:
When We seize those who lead a luxury life with the torment, they beg for help with a loud voice.
23/Al-Mu'minun-65:
Do not cry for help on that day. Surely you shall not be helped by Us.
23/Al-Mu'minun-66:
Our Verses were recited (read and explained) to you, but on your heels you had turned around and run.
23/Al-Mu'minun-67:
You were arrogant against it (My Verses), talking non-sense by night (about My Verses).
23/Al-Mu'minun-68:
Have they not pondered over the Word (Have they not grasped its meaning) or has there come to them what had not come to their forefathers?
23/Al-Mu'minun-69:
Or is it that they did not recognize (accept) their Messenger. Then they are the ones who deny him (the Messenger)?
23/Al-Mu'minun-70:
Or do they say that there is madness in him? Nay! (He) came to them with the truth and most of them are averse from the truth.
23/Al-Mu'minun-71:
And if the Truth had followed their low desires, surely the heavens and the earth and all those that are therein would have been in mischief. Nay! We have brought them their Remembrance (Dhikr) but from their Remembrance (Dhikr) they turn aside.
23/Al-Mu'minun-72:
Or do you ask of them a wage (payment)? Surely your Lord’s Wage (Reward) is better. And He is the Best of those who give sustenance.
23/Al-Mu'minun-73:
And most surely you are calling them to Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah).
23/Al-Mu'minun-74:
And most surely those who do not believe in the Hereafter (in reaching Allah while they are living) indeed are the ones who are deviated from the Way (from Sıratı Mustakîm/the Path directed at Allah) (they are those who are in Misguidance).
23/Al-Mu'minun-75:
And even if We gave them mercy and removed what was upon them of affliction, they would persist in their transgression, wandering blindly.
23/Al-Mu'minun-76:
And verily We seized them with the torment, but they were not submissive to their Lord and they did not pray earnestly.
23/Al-Mu'minun-77:
As We open upon them a gate of severe torment (punishment), then they get in to despair.
23/Al-Mu'minun-78:
It is He Who has designed (created) for you (the senses of) hearing, seeing and comprehending. Little thanks you give!
23/Al-Mu'minun-79:
And it is He Who spread you through the earth, and to Him you shall be gathered.
23/Al-Mu'minun-80:
And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and His (decision) is the alternation of the night and the day. Do you still not comprehend?
23/Al-Mu'minun-81:
And He it is Who gives life and causes death, and His (decision) is the alternation of the night and the day. Do you still not comprehend?
23/Al-Mu'minun-82:
They said: “When we are dead and become dust and bones, shall we then be raised again”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-83:
Certainly we are promised this, and (so were) our fathers aforetime. This is merely the tales of the ancients.
23/Al-Mu'minun-84:
Say: “(Tell) whose is the earth, and whoever is therein, if you know”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-85:
They will say: “Allah’s”. Say: “Will you then still not deliberate”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-86:
Say: “Who is the Lord of the seven heavens and the Lord of beyond existence”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-87:
They will say: “Allah’s”. Say: “Will you still not then be the owners of piety (Takwa)”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-88:
Say: “Who is it in Whose Hand is the Sovereignty of all things and Who protects, but Who is not in need of being protected, if you do but know”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-89:
They will say: “Allah’s”. Say: “How then are you deceived”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-90:
Nay! We have brought them the truth, and most surely they are liars.
23/Al-Mu'minun-91:
Never did Allah take a son and never is there with Him any (other) god. Otherwise would each god have certainly taken away what he created and some of them would raise themselves above others. Glory be to Allah above what they describe (of Him).
23/Al-Mu'minun-92:
(He is the) Knower of the Unseen and the seen. And He is Exalted above what they associate (with Him).
23/Al-Mu'minun-93:
Say: “My Lord! If you should make me see what they are promised”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-94:
My Lord! Then do not leave me amongst the people who are wrongdoers.
23/Al-Mu'minun-95:
And most surely We are Well Able to make you see what We have promised them.
23/Al-Mu'minun-96:
Repel evil with what is best. We know best what they describe.
23/Al-Mu'minun-97:
And say: “My Lord! I seek refuge in you from the whispers of the satans”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-98:
And I seek refuge in you, my Lord, for them to be present with me.
23/Al-Mu'minun-99:
When death came unto one of them, he said: “My Lord, send me back”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-100:
That (if you send me back) I may do improving deeds (that purify the soul) in that, which I have left. It is a (vain) word that he speaks, and behind them there is a barrier until the Day they will be raised.
23/Al-Mu'minun-101:
So when the Trumpet is blown on the Day of Permission, there shall be no ties of relationship (lineage), nor shall they greet each other.
23/Al-Mu'minun-102:
Then, those whose scales (of good deeds) are heavy, they are in.
23/Al-Mu'minun-103:
And those whose scales (of good deeds) are light, they are those who fail their souls into loss, in Hell will they abide forever.
23/Al-Mu'minun-104:
The Fire shall scorch their faces that are sullen therein.
23/Al-Mu'minun-105:
Were not you who used to deny (belie) My Verses when they were recited to you?
23/Al-Mu'minun-106:
They said: “Our Lord! Our adversity overcame us and we were a people who were in Misguidance”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-107:
Our Lord! Take us out of it (Hell); then if we turn away, surely we shall be “zalimûn” (wrongdoers, unjust).
23/Al-Mu'minun-108:
He said: “Stay in there and do not say (anything) to Me”!
23/Al-Mu'minun-109:
Surely a party of my servants say: “Our Lord! We believed (We wished to reach You before death) so forgive us and have mercy on us (Manifest upon us with Your Most Merciful attribute) and you are the Best of the Merciful.
23/Al-Mu'minun-110:
But you took them for a mockery that this made you forget My remembrance (Dhikr) and you used to laugh at them.
23/Al-Mu'minun-111:
Surely I have rewarded them this Day, because they were patient that they have attained Salvation.
23/Al-Mu'minun-112:
He said: “How many years did you stay on earth”?
23/Al-Mu'minun-113:
They said: “We stayed a day or a part of a day. Ask of those who kept account”.
23/Al-Mu'minun-114:
He said: “You stayed but a little, if you had only known”!
23/Al-Mu'minun-115:
Did you then think that We had created you in vain (without any purpose) and that you shall not be returned to Us?
23/Al-Mu'minun-116:
So Exalted be Allah, the True King. There is no god but He. The Lord of the Noble (Honorable) non-existence.
23/Al-Mu'minun-117:
And whoever worships Allah with another god, even though he has no proof, then his reckoning is only with his Lord. Surely the disbelievers shall not have Salvation.
23/Al-Mu'minun-118:
And say: “My Lord! Forgive (change our evil deeds into merits) and have mercy (Manifest upon us with Your Most Merciful attribute) and You are the Best of the Merciful”.
