« Verse-24 »
فَقَالَ الْمَلَأُ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُوا مِن قَوْمِهِ مَا هَذَا إِلَّا بَشَرٌ مِّثْلُكُمْ يُرِيدُ أَن يَتَفَضَّلَ عَلَيْكُمْ وَلَوْ شَاء اللَّهُ لَأَنزَلَ مَلَائِكَةً مَّا سَمِعْنَا بِهَذَا فِي آبَائِنَا الْأَوَّلِينَ
English Transliteration: Fa kealal malaullazeena kafaroo min kaavmihee mea heazea illea basharun mıslukum yureedu an yatafaaddaala aalaykum, va lav sheaaalleahu la anzala maleaikah(maleaikatan), mea sami’nea bi heazea fee eabeainal avvaleen(avvaleena).
And the elites of those who disbelieved from among his people said: “He is nothing but a human being like yourselves. He desires that he may have superiority over you, and if Allah had willed, He would certainly have sent down angels. We have not heard of this from our forefathers”.
