« Verse-87 »
قَالُوا مَا أَخْلَفْنَا مَوْعِدَكَ بِمَلْكِنَا وَلَكِنَّا حُمِّلْنَا أَوْزَارًا مِّن زِينَةِ الْقَوْمِ فَقَذَفْنَاهَا فَكَذَلِكَ أَلْقَى السَّامِرِيُّ
English Transliteration: Kealoo mea aahlafnea mav’ıdaka bi malkinea va leakinnea hummilnea avzearan min zeenatil kaavmi fa kaazafneahea fa kazealika alkeas seamiriyy(seamiriyyu).
They said: “We did not break our promise to you of our own will. But we were made to bear the burdens of the (gold) ornaments of that nation. Therefore we cast them (into the fire to melt). Then did Sâmirî too”.
