(Your spending and charity are) for the poor who are devoted themselves to the Way of Allah and cannot move about in the earth (gain their livelihood by making trade). The one who does not know them (their state) thinks that they are rich because of their chastity; you can recognize them by their mark; they do not beg from others importunately; and whatever you spend in good, surely Allah knows it well.
