« Verse-206 »
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُ اتَّقِ اللّهَ أَخَذَتْهُ الْعِزَّةُ بِالإِثْمِ فَحَسْبُهُ جَهَنَّمُ وَلَبِئْسَ الْمِهَادُ
English Transliteration: Va izea keela lahuttakılleaha ahaazathul izzatu bil ismi fa haasbuhu cahannam(cahannamu), va la bi’sal mihead(miheadu).
And when it is said to him: “Have Takwâ (Piety) towards Allah, pride (of the soul) takes him with sin (carries it off to sin by hindering him) therefore Hell is sufficient for him, and certainly it is an evil resting-place”.
