« Verse-170 »
وَإِذَا قِيلَ لَهُمُ اتَّبِعُوا مَا أَنزَلَ اللّهُ قَالُواْ بَلْ نَتَّبِعُ مَا أَلْفَيْنَا عَلَيْهِ آبَاءنَا أَوَلَوْ كَانَ آبَاؤُهُمْ لاَ يَعْقِلُونَ شَيْئاً وَلاَ يَهْتَدُونَ
English Transliteration: Va izea keela lahumuttabioo mea anzalaalleahu kealoo bal nattabiu mea alfaynea aalayhi eabeaanea a va lav keana eabeauhum lea yaa’kıloona shay’an va lea yahtadoon(yahtadoona).
And when it is said to them: “Follow what Allah has sent down”, they said: “Nay! We follow what (the way) we found our fathers upon”. Even if their fathers were not mindful nor did they attain Guidance (Hidayet)?
