« Al-Baqarah »
« Verse-144 »
English Transliteration: Kaad narea takaalluba vachika fees sameai, fa la nuvalliyannaka kıblatan tardeahea, fa valli vachaka shaatraal mascidil haaream(haareami), va haaysu mea kuntum fa valloo vucoohakum shaatraah(shaatraahu), va innallazeena ootool kiteaba la yaa’lamoona annahul haakku min raabbihim va mealleahu bi geafilin aammea yaa’maloon(yaa’maloona).
Verily, We have seen the turning of your face towards the heaven (waiting for the Divine Decree). Surely, We shall turn you to a Qiblah (prayer direction) that shall please you; so turn your face in the direction of the Inviolable Sanctuary (Al-Masjid Al-Harâm in Makka), and wherever you may be, turn your faces towards it. Those to whom the Book was given know this to be the truth from their Lord. And Allah is not Unaware of what they do.
