16/An-Nahl-1: Atea amrulleahi fa lea tastaa’cilooh(tastaa’ciloohu), subheanahu va taealea aammea yushrikoon(yushrikoona)., 16/An-Nahl-2: Yunazzilul maleaikata bir roohi min amrihee aalea man yasheau min ibeadihee an anziroo annahu lea ileaha illea ana fattakoon(fattakooni). , 16/An-Nahl-3: Haalaakaas sameaveati val aardaa bil haakk(haakkı), taealea eammea yushrikoon(yushrikoona).
An-Nahl, Surah The Honey Bees (Qur'an: Surat-16-An-Nahl)
Bismillaah ir rahmaan ir raheem
16/An-Nahl-1:
Allah’s Commandment has come, so do not seek to hasten it (the realization of its content). Glory be to Him, and exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
16/An-Nahl-2:
He sends down the angels with the spirit from His Command on whom He wills of His servants to warn mankind that there is no god but Me. Therefore have piety towards Me (render your spirits back to Me before death).
16/An-Nahl-3:
He created the heavens and the earth with the truth. Exalted is He and high above what they associate with Him.
16/An-Nahl-4:
He created man from a ‘Nutfah’. In spite of that, he is a clear adversary.
16/An-Nahl-5:
And as for the cattle, He created them to. In them there is protection (from cold) and numerous benefits for you. And from them you eat.
16/An-Nahl-6:
And there is beauty in them for you when you bring them home in the evening, and when you bring them out to pasture in the morning.
16/An-Nahl-7:
And they carry your loads to regions which you could not reach except with distress (with great trouble to yourselves). Most surely your Lord is Compassionate (the most Kind), Most Merciful (the one that sends the glorious light of Mercy).
16/An-Nahl-8:
And He creates horses, mules and donkeys that you might ride upon them and as ornament; and He creates what you do not know.
16/An-Nahl-9:
And unto Allah is the appointing of the Way (the ways originating from the dervish convents to Sıratı Mustakîm, in other words, the religious guides-Murshids). And there are some deviating from that. And if Allah had willed, He would have caused you all to have Hidayet (Guidance).
16/An-Nahl-10:
He it is who sends down water from the sky. From it is the drinks and from it is foliage on which you send your animals to pasture.
16/An-Nahl-11:
He causes to grow for you with it herbage, and the olives and the date-palms and the grapes, and of all the fruits. Most surely there is a Verse (proof) in this for a people who reflect.
16/An-Nahl-12:
And He has subjected to you the night and the day, the sun and the moon, and the stars by His Command. Most surely there are Verses (proofs) in this for a people who use their intelligence.
16/An-Nahl-13:
And whatever He created and multiplied for you on the earth are in varying colors. Most surely there is a Verse (proof) in this for a people who remember (deliberate).
16/An-Nahl-14:
And He it is Who made the sea subservient that you may eat fresh tender meat from it. You bring forth from it ornaments which you wear. And you see the ships cleaving through it. And these are for you that you might seek of His Virtue and that you may be grateful.
16/An-Nahl-15:
And He cast great mountains in the earth lest it might shake with you (for you not to be shaken), and rivers and roads, that you may find your way (that you may reach Hidayet).
16/An-Nahl-16:
And by signs and the star (by the Imam of the Time) they find the way (they reach Hidayet).
16/An-Nahl-17:
Is He then Who creates like him who does not create? Will you not still deliberate?
16/An-Nahl-18:
And if you would count the Blessings of Allah, you would not be able to count it. Most surely Allah is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
16/An-Nahl-19:
And Allah knows what you conceal (your most intimate secrets) and what you reveal.
16/An-Nahl-20:
Those whom they call on besides Allah cannot create anything. They are created themselves.
16/An-Nahl-21:
They are dead, not alive. And they do not know when they will be raised up (resurrected).
16/An-Nahl-22:
Your God is one God. The hearts of those who do not believe in the hereafter (having the spirits reach Allah before death) are deniers and they are the arrogant ones.
16/An-Nahl-23:
No doubt Allah knows what they conceal and what they manifest. Surely He does not love the arrogant.
16/An-Nahl-24:
And when it is said to them: “What is it that your Lord has sent down?” they said: “Tales of the ancients.”
16/An-Nahl-25:
That they may bear their own burdens in full on the Day of Resurrection and also of the burdens of those whom they caused to remain in Misguidance without any knowledge. Now surely evil is what they bear, is it not?
16/An-Nahl-26:
Those before them indeed plotted too. Allah demolished their buildings from the foundations. So the ceiling fell down on them from above and the torment came to them from where they did not perceive.
16/An-Nahl-27:
Then, on the Day of Resurrection, (Allah) will degrade them and say: “Where are My (so-called) partners concerning whom you used to disagree and dispute?” Those who are given the knowledge said: “Surely the disgrace and the torment are upon the disbelievers today.”
16/An-Nahl-28:
Those whom the angels cause to die while they were wronging their souls said in full submission: “We did nothing evil.” No! Truly, Allah is All-Knowing of your evil deeds.
16/An-Nahl-29:
Therefore enter the gates of Hell, to dwell in it forever. How evil is the dwelling-place of the arrogant (of those who put on airs).
16/An-Nahl-30:
And it is said to those who have piety: “What is it that your Lord has sent down?” They said: “Goodness (the nicest things)”. For those who are the best of the best (for those who have submitted their free wills to Allah) there are goodness (nice things, rewards, positive degrees) in this world. And certainly the Home of the Hereafter is much better. And certainly most excellent is the Abode of the pious (the owners of piety, takwâ).
16/An-Nahl-31:
They (the owners of piety) shall enter the Gardens of Eden that rivers flow under them. They shall have in them all that they wish. This is how Allah rewards (the best of the best) the pious (the owners of piety).
16/An-Nahl-32:
The angels cause them die in a best (and clean) state saying: “Peace be upon you. Enter Heaven for what you used to do (the good deeds).”
16/An-Nahl-33:
Do they only wait for the coming of the angels or the coming of the Command of your Lord? This is what those before them did too. And Allah did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves (their own souls).
16/An-Nahl-34:
So they were struck by their evil deeds. They used to mock at surrounded them.
16/An-Nahl-35:
And those who associated others with Allah said: “If Allah had willed, we would not have become a servant to anything besides Allah nor our fathers (would become servants to anything but Allah). We would not have prohibited anything but (Command from) Him.” The ones before them did the same thing. Is then anything (incumbent) upon the Messengers except a plain conveying (of the Message)?
16/An-Nahl-36:
And certainly, We have raised (brought to life, charged with a duty) in every nation a Messenger. For them to become servants to Allah and avoid Tâgût (human and jinn Satans). So there were some of them whom Allah delivered to Hidayet (those who have wished to reach Allah upon the call of the Messenger) and of them were some upon whom Misguidance was justified (who did not wish). So travel in the land. Then see what the end of the deniers was.
16/An-Nahl-37:
Even if you strive for their Hidayet (Guidance), yet surely Allah does not guide him whom He leaves in Misguidance (unless he wishes to reach Allah before death) and they will have no helpers either.
16/An-Nahl-38:
And they did swear by Allah with the strongest of their oaths saying: “Allah will not raise up (bring to life again) him who dies.” No (that’s not the case)! This is a promise upon Him in truth. But most people do not know.
16/An-Nahl-39:
(This is) so He will make clear to them that wherein they differed (about resurrection) and so those who have disbelieved may know that they were certainly liars.
16/An-Nahl-40:
Indeed, Our word to a thing when We intend it is but that We say to it, "Be" and it is.
16/An-Nahl-41:
And as for those emigrated for (in the Way of) Allah after they were wronged, We shall surely give them a good Lodging in the world, and the reward of the Hereafter is certainly much greater, if they but knew!
16/An-Nahl-42:
They remained patient (against the wrong done to them) and put their trust in their Lord.
16/An-Nahl-43:
And We did not send before you any (Messenger) but men to whom We sent revelation. So ask the owners of the Remembrance (Dhikr, those who repeat the Name of Allah continuously) if you do not know.
16/An-Nahl-44:
(We sent Messengers) with the clear arguments (means of proof) and Heavenly Books and We have also sent down unto you the Dhikr (the Qur’ân) that you may make clear to mankind what has been sent to them. It is hoped that they may reflect.
16/An-Nahl-45:
Do then those who devise evil plots feel secure that Allah will not sink them into the earth, or that the torment will not seize them from whence they do not perceive?
16/An-Nahl-46:
Or are they sure that He may not seize them in their wandering? And they will not be able to make Him weak.
16/An-Nahl-47:
Or that He may catch them while they dread. Yet, Your Lord is indeed full of Kindness, the Most Merciful (the One Who sends the Light of Mercy, Pitying).
16/An-Nahl-48:
Did they not see all the things (the electrons) that Allah has created? Their shadows spin (counter-electrons) return from the right (having a right spin) and the left (having a left spin) by depending (on the electrons), making prostration unto Allah.
16/An-Nahl-49:
And to Allah prostrate all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth, of the moving creatures and the angels. And they are not arrogant.
16/An-Nahl-50:
They fear their Lord above them (under His Command), and they do what they are commanded.
16/An-Nahl-51:
And Allah said: “Do not take two gods, He is only one God. So fear Me alone.”
16/An-Nahl-52:
And whatever is in the heavens and the earth is His, and the Religion is His perpetually. Will you (then) fear any other than Allah?
16/An-Nahl-53:
Whatever of Blessings is on you, it is from Allah. Then, when harm touches you, unto Him do you cry for help.
16/An-Nahl-54:
Yet when He removes the harm from you, then a party of you associate others with their Lord.
16/An-Nahl-55:
So let them be ungrateful for what We have given them. Go ahead enjoy yourselves. Soon you will know.
16/An-Nahl-56:
And they set apart for what they do not know a portion of what We have given them as sustenance. By Allah, you shall most certainly be questioned about that which you forged.
16/An-Nahl-57:
And they ascribe daughters to Allah. Glory be to Him (He is excepted of having children). And for themselves (sons that they prefer) what they desire.
16/An-Nahl-58:
When the news of (the birth of) a female (child) is brought to any of them, his face turns black (dark), and he is filled with inward grief.
16/An-Nahl-59:
He hides himself from his people because of the evil of that whereof he has been informed. Shall he keep her with disgrace or bury her in the earth? Surely evil is what they judge, is it not?
16/An-Nahl-60:
(The news) being regarded as evil is for those who do not believe in the hereafter (for those who do not wish to reach Allah while they are living). And for Allah is the highest attribute. And He is the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
16/An-Nahl-61:
And if Allah were to question and punish at once mankind (for their wrong-doing), He would not leave on it (the earth) a single moving creature. And but He respites them till an appointed term. When their term comes, neither it gets delayed nor gets advanced an hour.
16/An-Nahl-62:
They ascribe to Allah what they dislike (their daughters) and their tongues relate the lie that the best thing is theirs. There is no doubt that for them is the Fire (Hell) and that they are in extravagance.
16/An-Nahl-63:
By Allah, most certainly We sent (messengers) to nations before you. But Satan made their deeds fair-seeming to them. So he will be their friend that Day. For them there is a painful torment.
16/An-Nahl-64:
And We have not sent down the Book to you, except that you may make clear to them that in which they differ and as a Guidance and a Mercy for a people who believe (who became believers by wishing to reach Allah).
16/An-Nahl-65:
And Allah sends down water from the sky. So He revived the earth therewith after its death. Most surely there is a Verse (proof) in this for a people who hear.
16/An-Nahl-66:
And most surely there is a lesson for you in the animals. We make you drink of what is in their bellies, from between the dung (digested nutriment) and the blood, pure milk that goes easily through the throat for the drinkers.
16/An-Nahl-67:
And from the fruits of date-palms and grapes, you obtain (date and grape juice) and a goodly provision. Most surely there is a Verse in this for a people who use their intelligence.
16/An-Nahl-68:
And your Lord revealed to the bee to take habitations in the mountains and in the trees and in what they build (hives).
16/An-Nahl-69:
Then eat of all fruits (flowers)! Fly (wander around) in the ways of your Lord that He commanded. There comes forth out of their bellies a fluid (honey) of varying hues, in which there is a healing for mankind. Most surely there is a Verse (proof) in this for a people who reflect.
16/An-Nahl-70:
And Allah created you. Then He will cause you to die. And of you is he who is brought back to the vilest period of his life (from Hidayet into Misguidance), so that after having knowledge (after having learnt Hidayet) that he could not comprehend anything. Surely Allah is All-Knowing, Omnipotent.
16/An-Nahl-71:
Those who are made to excel do not give away their sustenance to those whom their right hands possess (because it is only Allah Who gives sustenance) whereas they are equal in respect of their sustenance. Do they then deny the Blessing of Allah knowingly?
16/An-Nahl-72:
And Allah has made for you from your own souls Azwâc (mates, spouses) of your own kind, and has made for you, from your mates, sons and grandsons and has provided you with good (and pure) things. Is it then in the falsehood that they believe while it is in the Blessing of Allah that they disbelieve?
16/An-Nahl-73:
And they (the ones who associate others with Allah) worship (idols) besides Allah that which does not own any sustenance for them from the heavens and the earth, nor have they (idols) any power to do so.
16/An-Nahl-74:
Therefore do not give likenesses to Allah (with idols)! Surely Allah knows and you do not know.
16/An-Nahl-75:
Allah set forth such an example: A servant, the property of another, has no power over anything, and one whom We have granted from Ourselves a goodly sustenance so he spends from it secretly and openly; are the two equal? All praise be to Allah. Nay! Most of them do not know.
16/An-Nahl-76:
And Allah set forth an example of two men: One of them is dumb, not able to do anything and he is a burden to his master; wherever he sends him, he brings no good (benefit). Can he be held equal with him who enjoins what is just (the owner of the post of the Immaterial Maturity-Irshad) and he is on Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed towards Allah)?
16/An-Nahl-77:
And Allah’s is the Unseen of the heavens and the earth. And the matter of that Hour is but as the twinkling of an eye, or even faster. Surely Allah has power over all things.
16/An-Nahl-78:
And Allah brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers not knowing anything and He gave you the senses of hearing, seeing and comprehending. It is hoped that you would be grateful.
16/An-Nahl-79:
Did they not see the birds made subservient in the blankness of the skies? None may withhold them but Allah (in the blankness). Most surely there are Verses (proofs) in this for a people who are believers.
16/An-Nahl-80:
And Allah has made for you from your homes a place of rest (peace). And He made for you from the hides of the animals tents which you find light (to carry) on your day of travel and your day of encampment; and from their wool, fur and hair for furnishing and enjoyment for a time.
16/An-Nahl-81:
And Allah has made for you of what He has created shades. And He has given you in the mountains places of retreat (from the wind ,the rain), and He has given you garments (shirts) to preserve you from the heat and coats (armor) to preserve you from an impact. This is how He completes His Blessing upon you that haply you may submit.
16/An-Nahl-82:
But if they turn away, then your duty is only to convey clearly.
16/An-Nahl-83:
They know the Blessing of Allah, yet they deny it. And most of them are disbelievers.
16/An-Nahl-84:
And that Day We send a witness out of every nation. Then no permission is given for those who disbelieve to get out of hell nor their asking for consent (from Allah) is not accepted from them.
16/An-Nahl-85:
And when those who did wrong (who are not allowed to get out of hell) see the torment, it shall not be lightened for them, nor shall they be looked at.
16/An-Nahl-86:
And when those who associated (others with Allah) saw what they associated (idols), they said: “Our Lord! These are our partners on whom we called besides You”. But they will throw back their word at them saying: “Most surely you are liars”.
16/An-Nahl-87:
And they (idols) tendered their submission to Allah on the Day of Permission. And what they used to forge (idols, false deities) departed them.
16/An-Nahl-88:
As for those who deny (disbelieve) and hinder from the Way of Allah, We added torment upon torment because of the mischief they caused.
16/An-Nahl-89:
And on that Day, We commission in every nation a witness against them from amongst themselves and brought you as a witness upon them. And We have sent down to you the Book that is explaining clearly everything and delivering to Hidayet and being a Mercy for the Muslims (those who are submitted to Allah) as glad tidings.
16/An-Nahl-90:
Surely Allah enjoins being just and doing of good (“ihsan”, kindness) and giving to the kindred. And He forbids indecency and evil (what Allah prohibits) and exacerbate (oppression). He admonishes you that you may take heed.
16/An-Nahl-91:
And fulfill the covenant of Allah (in regards to submitting your spirit, physical body soul and free will to Allah) when you have covenanted. Do not break the oaths (do not fall into Misguidance after you have had your spirit reach Allah and you have purified your soul’s heart) after making them stronger (after having attained Hidayet and having purified your soul’s heart). And you had indeed made Allah a Surrogate for you (Allah had fulfilled His Word, His guarantee by delivering you to Hidayet through having your spirit reach Himself). Surely Allah knows what you do.
16/An-Nahl-92:
And be not like the woman who unravels her yarn, disintegrating it into pieces after she has spun it strongly (be not like the person who has fallen into Misguidance after reaching Hidayet). You make your oaths to be means of deceit between you relying on the fact that one nation (regards to their vows, covenants and promises as non-existent) is more numerous than another nation (that fulfils them). Allah only tries you by this (fulfilling your oaths). And He will most certainly make clear (explain) to you on the Day of Resurrection that about which you differed (about reaching Hidayet and about having the spirit reach Allah before death).
16/An-Nahl-93:
And if Allah had willed, He would have made you one nation. But He leaves in Misguidance whom He wills (as all people are in Misguidance from birth and Allah does not cause them to reach Himself if they do not wish to reach Him) and He causes to have Hidayet whom He wills (according to His Word, and guarantee). And most certainly you will be questioned as to what you did.
16/An-Nahl-94:
And do not make your oaths a means of deceit between you. If you do, a foot slips (you go back to misguidance) after being firmly planted (having Hidayet) and you may have to taste the evil (discomfort one will experience after getting off the path). There is a great torment for you due to turning your faces away from the Way of Allah.
16/An-Nahl-95:
And do not sell the covenant of Allah for a small price. Surely what is with Allah (the covenant) is better for you, if you only knew.
16/An-Nahl-96:
What is with you comes to an end. What is with Allah is enduring (endless). And We will most certainly give to those who are patient their reward for the better of what they did.
16/An-Nahl-97:
Whoever does improving deed (cleanses and purifies the soul), whether male or female as a believer, We will most certainly make them live a good (clean, permissible) life. And We will most certainly give them their reward (wage) for the better of what they did.
16/An-Nahl-98:
So when you recite the Qur’ân, seek refuge in Allah from Satan the stoned.
16/An-Nahl-99:
Because he has no authority over those who believe (are âmenû, who whish to reach Allah before death) and put their trust in their Lord.
16/An-Nahl-100:
His authority is only over those who turn him and those who through him associate others with Allah (as they do not wish to reach Allah).
16/An-Nahl-101:
When We changed a Verse in place of another Verse, they said; “since Allah knows best what to send down, you are only a forger”. Nay! Most of them do not know.
16/An-Nahl-102:
Say: “The Holy Spirit (Gabriel) has brought it (the Qur’ân) down from your Lord with the truth, that it may make firm and strengthen those who believe (who are âmenû) and as Hidayet and glad tidings to those who are Muslims (submitted).
16/An-Nahl-103:
And certainly We know that they say: “only a human being teaches him that (the Qur’ân).” The tongue of him to whom they allude is novice (not Arabic) and this (the Qur’ân) is a clear Arabic tongue.
16/An-Nahl-104:
Those who do not believe in the Verses of Allah, surely Allah does not deliver them to Hidayet (He does not deliver their spirits to Himself) and for them there is a painful torment.
16/An-Nahl-105:
None forges a lie except those who disbelieve in the Verses of Allah. And these, these are the liars.
16/An-Nahl-106:
Whoever disbelieves in Allah after his belief (after having attained Hidayet) except for one who is forced while his heart is satisfied with Faith; but those who open their breasts to disbelief (doubts the person of Irshad and goes back to Misguidance, due to their willing of Misguidance Allah opens their breasts to disbelief), upon them is wrath from Allah, and for them is a great punishment.
16/An-Nahl-107:
This is because they love this world’s life more than the Hereafter and because Allah does not deliver the disbelieving people to Hidayet.
16/An-Nahl-108:
These are they on whose hearts, their faculties of hearing and seeing Allah has set a seal. And these, these are the heedless ones.
16/An-Nahl-109:
No doubt that in the Hereafter they will be the losers.
16/An-Nahl-110:
Then surely your Lord is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (the One Who sends the Glorious Light of Mercy) for those who emigrated after they had been persecuted and then they struggled hard and fought, and were patient.
16/An-Nahl-111:
That day every soul comes. Everyone contends against their own soul (as they see their life film respecting to what degrees they have earned and what degrees they have lost) and every soul is paid in full for what it has done and they are not wronged (negative degrees are not written down for them unjustly).
16/An-Nahl-112:
And Allah set forth an example of a town that is safe (of fear) and well content. Its means of subsistence was coming in abundance from everywhere. But it (the people of the town) became ungrateful to the Blessings of Allah. Therefore Allah caused it to taste the garb of famine and fear because of what they did.
16/An-Nahl-113:
And certainly there came to them a Messenger of their own, but they denied him. So the torment overtook them. And they are the wrongdoers.
16/An-Nahl-114:
So eat of the lawful and good (and clean) things which Allah has provided for you, and give thanks for Allah’s Blessings, if it is He whom you became a servant to.
16/An-Nahl-115:
He has only forbidden you what is dead, blood, flesh of swine and animal which is slaughtered in the name of others than Allah. But if one is forced by necessity (to eat), without willful disobedience, and not transgressing, then, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful (the One that sends the Glorious light of Mercy).
16/An-Nahl-116:
And do not utter a lie for what your tongues describe: “This is lawful and this is unlawful”, in order to forge a lie against Allah. Surely those who forge a lie against Allah do not attain Salvation.
16/An-Nahl-117:
A little enjoyment (in the world’s life) and for them there is a painful torment.
16/An-Nahl-118:
We prohibited what We have already related to you for the Jews. We did not wrong them, but they used to wrong themselves.
16/An-Nahl-119:
Then surely your Lord, with respect to those who do evil in ignorance and afterwards repent and improve (cleanse their souls), after that most surely is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful (the One that sends the Glorious light of Mercy).
16/An-Nahl-120:
Surely Abraham was an Ummah, obedient and turning to Allah as Hanîf and he was not of the associators.
16/An-Nahl-121:
He was Grateful for His Blessings. He chose him and delivered him to Sıratı Mustakîm (the Path directed to Allah).
16/An-Nahl-122:
And We gave him good (positive degrees of which he deserved). In the Hereafter he was of the improved ones (Sâlihîn).
16/An-Nahl-123:
Then We revealed to you: “To follow (depend on) the Religion of Abraham, as Hanîf [based on unity (vahdet), unification (tevhid) and submission]”. And he was not of the associators.
16/An-Nahl-124:
The Sabbath (Saturday, the prohibition of fishing) was ordained only for those who differed about it. And most surely your Lord will judge between them on the Day of Resurrection concerning that about which they differed.
16/An-Nahl-125:
Call to the Way of your Lord (to the Way that makes all to reach Allah, to Sıratı Mustakîm-the Path directed to Allah) with wisdom and good advice. Struggle with them in the best manner. Surely your Lord best knows those who go astray (those who fall into Misguidance) from His Way (His Sıratı Mustakîm-the Path directed to Allah) and He knows best those who reach Hidayet.
16/An-Nahl-126:
And if you punish, then punish with the like of that with which you were punished. But if you endure patiently, this (their patience) is indeed better for the patient ones.
16/An-Nahl-127:
Be patient! Your patience is only with Allah (with Allah’s controlling you). Do not grieve for them, and be not distressed because of what they plot.
16/An-Nahl-128:
Surely Allah is with those who have piety and those are the good-doers (Muhsinîn).
