ضَرَبَ اللّهُ مَثَلاً عَبْدًا مَّمْلُوكًا لاَّ يَقْدِرُ عَلَى شَيْءٍ وَمَن رَّزَقْنَاهُ مِنَّا رِزْقًا حَسَنًا فَهُوَ يُنفِقُ مِنْهُ سِرًّا وَجَهْرًا هَلْ يَسْتَوُونَ الْحَمْدُ لِلّهِ بَلْ أَكْثَرُهُمْ لاَ يَعْلَمُونَ
English Transliteration: Daaraabaalleahu masalan aabdan mamlookan lea yaakdiru aalea shay’in va man raazaakneahu minnea rızkaan haasanan fa huva yunfiku minhu sırran va cahrea(cahran), hal yastavoon(yastavoona), alhaamdulilleah(alhaamdulilleahi), bal aksaruhum lea yaa’lamoon(yaa’lamoona).
Allah set forth such an example: A servant, the property of another, has no power over anything, and one whom We have granted from Ourselves a goodly sustenance so he spends from it secretly and openly; are the two equal? All praise be to Allah. Nay! Most of them do not know.
