« Verse-112 »
وَضَرَبَ اللّهُ مَثَلاً قَرْيَةً كَانَتْ آمِنَةً مُّطْمَئِنَّةً يَأْتِيهَا رِزْقُهَا رَغَدًا مِّن كُلِّ مَكَانٍ فَكَفَرَتْ بِأَنْعُمِ اللّهِ فَأَذَاقَهَا اللّهُ لِبَاسَ الْجُوعِ وَالْخَوْفِ بِمَا كَانُواْ يَصْنَعُونَ
English Transliteration: Va daaraabaalleahu masalan kaaryatan keanat eaminatan mutmaainnatan ya’teehea rızkuhea raagaadan min kulli makeanin fa kafarat bi an’umilleahi fa azeakaahaalleahu libeasal cooi val haavfi bimea keanoo yaasnaaoon(yaasnaaoona).
And Allah set forth an example of a town that is safe (of fear) and well content. Its means of subsistence was coming in abundance from everywhere. But it (the people of the town) became ungrateful to the Blessings of Allah. Therefore Allah caused it to taste the garb of famine and fear because of what they did.
