« Verse-62 »
قَالُواْ يَا صَالِحُ قَدْ كُنتَ فِينَا مَرْجُوًّا قَبْلَ هَذَا أَتَنْهَانَا أَن نَّعْبُدَ مَا يَعْبُدُ آبَاؤُنَا وَإِنَّنَا لَفِي شَكٍّ مِّمَّا تَدْعُونَا إِلَيْهِ مُرِيبٍ
English Transliteration: Kealoo yea sealihu kaad kunta feenea marcuvvan kaabla heazea a tanheanea an naa'buda mea yaa'budu eabeaunea va innanea la fee shakkin mimmea tad'oonea ilayhi mureeb(mureebin).
They said: “O Sâlih! Surely you were one amongst us in whom great expectations were placed before this. Do you now forbid us from worshipping what our fathers worshipped? As to which you call us to, most surely we are decisively in hesitation about this suspicious thing”.
