« Verse-116 »
English Transliteration: Fa lav lea keana minal kurooni min kaablikum ooloo baakıyyatin yanhavna aanil faseadi fil aardı illea kaaleelan mimman ancaynea minhum, vattabaaallazeena zaalamoo mea utrifoo feehi va keanoo mucrimeen(mucrimeena).
But why were there not among the generations before you the owners of the Reminder [those who have forbidden Al-Munkar (all that Islam has forbidden) and enjoin Al-Ma’rûf (all that Islam has ordained during centuries)], who should have forbidden the making of mischief in the earth, except a few of those whom We delivered from among them? But those who wronged pursued what luxury they were given therein, and they became criminals (guilty).
