7/Al-A'raf-131: But when good befell them, they said: “This is our right”. And when evil afflicted them, they attributed it to the ill-omen of Moses and those with him; surely their ill-omen is only from Allah, is not it? But most of them do not know.
7/Al-A'raf-132: And they said: “Whatever verse (miracle) you may bring to us to charm us with it, we will not believe in you”.
7/Al-A'raf-133: Therefore We sent on them the miracles, flood and the locusts and the lice and the frogs and the blood. But they behaved haughtily and they became a sinful (guilty) people.
7/Al-A'raf-134: And when the torment fell upon them, they said: O Moses, invoke for us your Lord by a covenant (of prophet-hood) He bestowed upon you. If you remove the torment from us, we will certainly believe in you and we will certainly send away with you the Children of Israel.
7/Al-A'raf-135: But when We remove the torment from them till a term (end) which they should attain, lo! They brake (turn away from) their word.
7/Al-A'raf-136: Therefore We took revenge on them and drowned them in the sea because they belied our Verses and were heedless of them.
7/Al-A'raf-137: And We made the people who were deemed weak to inherit the eastern parts of the land and the western ones which We had blessed. And the beautiful word of your Lord was fulfilled for the Children of Israel because of their patience. We utterly destroyed what Pharaoh and his people had done and what they built.
