2/Al-Baqarah-275: Those who eat the Ribâ (Usury) will not rise from their graves except as one rises who is being beaten by Satan into insanity. That is because they say: “Trading is only like usury; however Allah has made trading lawful and forbidden usury”. To whomsoever then the admonition has come from his Lord, then he desists (from usury), so what has already passed (usury he had taken before) is for him and his affair belongs to Allah; and whoever returns (to usury), these are the inmates of the Fire; they shall abide in it forever.
2/Al-Baqarah-276: Allah reduces for usury and increases for charity. And Allah does not love the disbelieving sinners.
2/Al-Baqarah-277: Surely they who believe (are âmenû) and do improving deeds (cleansing of the soul) and keep up the prayer(s) and give the Zakât (alms), they will have their reward with their Lord. On them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.
2/Al-Baqarah-278: O you who believe (are âmenû)! Have piety (takwâ) towards Allah and relinquish what remains from usury, if you are (true) believers.
2/Al-Baqarah-279: But if you do not do (it), then be apprised of war from Allah and His Messenger; and if you repent, then you shall have your principal, you shall not (thus) wrong and you shall not be wronged.
2/Al-Baqarah-280: And if (the debtor) is in distress (if he will not be able to pay his debt), then let there be postponement until he is in ease. And for you to remit (it) as alms is better for you if you knew.
2/Al-Baqarah-281: And guard yourselves against a Day in which you shall be returned to Allah; then every soul shall pay back in full what it has earned; and they shall not be dealt with unjustly.
