66/At-Tahrim-1: O Nabi (Prophet)! Why do you forbid for yourself that which Allah has made lawful for you, seeking to please your wives? And Allah is Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful.
66/At-Tahrim-2: Allah has obligated you with the solution of your (vain) promises (through ransom). And Allah is your Friend and He is the All-Knowing, the All-Wise.
66/At-Tahrim-3: Nabi (the Prophet) had disclosed a matter in secret to some of his wives. But when she informed others of it (the secret) and Allah made it known to him (His Prophet). (And the Nabi) made known some parts of it and omitted others. When he informed her of it (that he knew this), she said: “Who informed you of this”? (The Prophet) said: “The All-Knowing, the All-Aware, informed me”.
66/At-Tahrim-4: You both shall repent to Allah (and you must do it). Because both your hearts had slipped. And if you back up each other against him (the Prophet), then surely Allah, He is Who is his (the Prophet’s) Friend and Gabriel and the improved believers and the angels after that are the helpers to him as well.
66/At-Tahrim-5: If (he) divorces you, it is hoped that his Lord may give him in your place wives better than you, who are submitted women (to Allah), believing women, revering women, penitent women, servant women, fasting women, widow and virgin women.
66/At-Tahrim-6: O you who believe (who wish to reach Allah before death)! Guard yourselves and your families from the Fire whose fuel is humans and stones. Over it are angels strong and stern (ruthless). They do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded.
66/At-Tahrim-7: O you who deny! Make no excuses on that Day! You will be punished only for what you used to do.
