36/Ya Sin-13: And give them the example of the dwellers of the city. The Messengers had come to them.
36/Ya Sin-14: We had sent to them two (Messengers), but they belied (denied) them both. Then We reinforced (them) with a third (Messenger). Then they said: “Surely we are the sent Messengers to you”.
36/Ya Sin-15: They said: “You are only human beings like us, and the Most Beneficent has not sent down anything, you only lie”.
36/Ya Sin-16: (The Messengers) said: “Our Lord knows that we have been sent to you as Messengers”.
36/Ya Sin-17: And there is no responsibility upon us but a plain conveyance (of the Message).
36/Ya Sin-18: They said: “Surely we endured bad luck from you. If you do not desist, we will certainly stone you, and a painful torment will touch you from us”.
36/Ya Sin-19: They said: “Your bad luck is with you (your bad luck is from yourselves). (Do you endure bad luck) because you are reminded of the Dhikr (the truth)? Nay, you are an extravagant people (that crossed the line).
36/Ya Sin-20: And from the farthest part of the city there came a man running. He said: “O my people, follow (depend on) the Messengers that are sent (to you)”.
36/Ya Sin-21: Follow (depend on) to (those) who do ask no wages (for their conveyance) and they are the (Mahdis) guides (those who have reached Hidayet and make others to reach Hidayet).
36/Ya Sin-22: And why should I not become a servant to Whom created me; to Him you shall be brought back!
36/Ya Sin-23: Do I take besides Him gods? If the Most Beneficent intends me any harm, their intercession will be of no use for me whatsoever, nor can they save me.
36/Ya Sin-24: If that was the case (if I worshipped idols), truly I certainly would be in plain Misguidance.
36/Ya Sin-26: It was said (to him): “Enter heaven”! He said: “I wish my people had known”.
36/Ya Sin-27: Therefore (had they known) my Lord has forgiven me and made me of the honored ones!
