31/Luqman-12: And certainly We gave wisdom to Luqman for him to be grateful to Allah. And whoever is grateful, he is only grateful for his own soul and whoever is ungrateful (disbelieves, denies), then Allah is All-Sufficient (does not need anyone’s gratefulness), All-Praised (Praiseworthy).
31/Luqman-13: And Luqman said to his son while he admonished him: “O my son! Do not associate anything with Allah! Most surely ascribing partners (to Allah) is a tremendous torment.
31/Luqman-14: And We have enjoined on human (to be dutiful and kind) to their parents. His mother bore him in difficulty upon difficulty and his weaning is in two years. Be grateful to Me and to both your parents! The return is to Me.
31/Luqman-15: And if they strive with you that you should associate with Me that of which You have no knowledge, do not obey neither of them! And deal with them in this world kindly. Follow the Way of those who turned to Me (who wished to have their spirits reach Me), then to Me is your return. Then will I inform you of what you used to do.
31/Luqman-16: O my child! Surely if it (your deed) is the very weight of the grain of a mustard-seed, even though it is in a rock, or in the heavens or in the earth, Allah will bring it (before you in your life film on the Day of Resurrection). Surely Allah is Subtle (Owner of subtleties), All-Aware.
31/Luqman-17: O my child, keep up the Prayer! Enjoin Al-Ma rûf (command with religious knowledge and goodness) and forbid from Al-Munkar (denial, all that Allah has forbidden and evil) and bear with patience whatever befalls you. Surely these are of the affairs to be dedicated (fulfilled) upon.
31/Luqman-18: And do not turn your face away from people (in pride) nor go about in the land exulting over much. Surely Allah does not love any self-conceited boaster.
31/Luqman-19: Be modest in your walking and lower your voice. Surely the ugliest of all voices is the braying of the donkey.
