17/Al-Isra-18: Whoever desires the quick passing (immediately in this world), We hasten to him there in what We will for whom We will. Then We assign him as the inmate of Hell. He gets thrown into it condemned and banished (from Mercy).
17/Al-Isra-19: Whoever desires the Hereafter as a believer and works for it as he ought to work, surely becomes appreciated (the one who deserves the reward).
17/Al-Isra-20: We give these to all (to those who desire for this world and to those who desire for the Hereafter). And these are from the Blessings of your Lord. The Blessings of your Lord is not confined.
17/Al-Isra-21: See how We have made some of them to excel others, and certainly the Hereafter is greater in degrees and greater in advancement.
17/Al-Isra-22: Do not associate with Allah any other god! Then you remain despised, forsaken.
17/Al-Isra-23: And your Lord has decreed that you shall not serve any but Him, and that you show kindness to your parents. If either or both of them live with you, do not say to them “Ugh” nor rebuke them, and speak to them a generous word.
17/Al-Isra-24: And lower unto them the wing of humility through mercy, and say: “My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up”.
17/Al-Isra-25: Your Lord knows best what is in your souls (your intention). If you become Sâlihîn (the improved ones), then He is Ever Most Forgiving to those who Evvâbîn (who turn unto Him in repentance and reach Him).
17/Al-Isra-26: Give to the near of kin his due and to the needy (elderly who cannot work) and the wayfarer! And do not squander wastefully!
17/Al-Isra-27: Surely the squanderers (those who waste unnecessarily for doing wrong and making mischief) became the brothers of Satan. And Satan is ever ungrateful to his Lord.
