2/Al-Baqarah-127: And (remember) when Abraham and (his son) Ishmael were raising the foundations of the House (saying): “Our Lord! Accept (this service) from us, Verily, You are the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing”.
2/Al-Baqarah-128: Our Lord! Make us both submitted ones to You and of our offspring a community (nation) which will be submitted to You and show us the places (and rules) of worship (of pilgrimage) and accept our repentance. You are indeed the Oft-Forgiving, the Most Merciful [You are the One who accepts repentance, and sends the (light of) mercy].
2/Al-Baqarah-129: Our Lord! And raise up in them a Messenger of their own who shall read (and explain) Your Verses (Signs) and teach them the Book and the Wisdom, and purify them (their souls’ hearts). Verily, You are the All-Mighty, the All-Wise.
2/Al-Baqarah-130: And who would turn away (renounce) from the Religion (faith) of Abraham except him who befools his own soul? Truly, We chose him in the world, and surely he will be one of the righteous ones (Sâlihîn) in the Hereafter as well. (131) When his Lord said to him: “Submit”! He said: “I have submitted myself to the Lord of the Worlds”.
2/Al-Baqarah-131: When his Lord said to him: “Submit”! He said: “I have submitted myself to the Lord of the Worlds”.
2/Al-Baqarah-132: And Abraham enjoined the same upon his sons, and so did Jacob (Ya’qûb): O my children, Allah has chosen for you this Religion, then do not die unless you are submitted (Muslimûn= those who have accomplished their four submissions, i.e. the submission of the spirit, the physical body, the soul and the free will to Allah).
2/Al-Baqarah-133: Or were you witnesses when death came to Jacob? He said to his sons: “What will you serve after me”? They said: “We will serve your God and the God of your fathers, Abraham and Ishmael and Isaac (Ishâq), one God only, and to Him we are submitted”.
2/Al-Baqarah-134: That was a nation (a community) that has passed away. They shall have what they earned and you shall have what you earn, and you shall not be questioned about their actions (you are not responsible for what they have done).
